i’m glad yall are liking season 6 so much! it’s personally not my favorite, but upon rewatching it is still miles better than season 1. i think this season seemed to pivot from unhinged chaos to more parody styles of comedy (such as this episode about boomers VS technology). i’m personally more a fan of farce, and nothing will top gumball turning into an anime out of nowhere for me lol. the episode with penny’s sister is actually my favorite of the season for this reason. but watching yall appreciate season 6 so much has reminded me that it definitely has enjoyable moments.

Just to be clear in case you guys don't know yet, Darwin's yearbook and Gumball Chronicles are glorified clipshows, with new jokes and dialogue sprinkled in throughout. Though because both were made on a tight budget, it never really gets as crazy as even season 1 unfortunately.

I mentioned it a few times before, but I want to say it again just in case it was missed. Season 7 of gumball isn't due to them taking a break and coming back. The end of season 6 was intended to be the fullstop end of the show. A potential movie was thought of and is supposedly still being made, but S6E44 is meant to be the final episode. Season 7 is being done by a different studio with different people. The creator of gumball who did 1-6 has absolutely no input with it. There's a few animators that swapped over to it, but the creator, most of the animators, and I believe all the writers from 1-6 will not be a part of season 7+. Just want to clear this up so there's not any confusion or wrong expectations.
