As a car person, the reason I love my car is because it is like a puzzle but one that I can use and it looks beautiful. There is a pride that comes from working on your car and being the one that makes it run and look good. There is also an inherent narcissism that car people have, because car people do also get joy from showing off their car and having people admire it.

For the record, Abra-Catastrophe was 2003, and The SpongeBob Movie was 2004.
It seems TV specials are easier to put together than theatrical films, since they can just borrow money from the rest of the season. The hard part is bartering with the network for a longer timeslot. There's a reason Fairly OddParents only had two "triple-length" specials and the rest were "double-length."

It only bothers me when it is obvious that he is just forgetting something or not accepting the explanation. The assigning realism and questioning things is normally pretty funny to me tho ngl

The things making Timmy unhappy are his abusive babysitter and neglectful parents. So until he outgrows those things he keeps his godparents.
