Tanjiro would be a direct descendant of the guy that looks like him in the flashback, who I think inherits the earrings from yoruichi, yoruichi’s brother is the rank 1 demon and an original hashira
Am I misunderstanding the ranking? I figured it just meant that one got stronger than them not necessarily that a demon was killed for another to take their rank. Or maybe the demons can kill each other and Muzan just meant an upper rank that was killed by a demon slayer?
One thing I really liked was how unsettling they made Douma’s eyes. Really fits
