This movie holds a special place in my heart because I too watched it with a friend who had not see DBZ and this is what happened:
*Goku gets punched in the nuts*
Friend: Oh, he doesn't NEED any more kids *laughs*
*Proceeds to show Goten, in fact, exists before disappearing*
Friend: *Surprised pikachu face*

Narrator two was actually Chris Sabat who voices Vegeta and Piccolo in the actual Dragon Ball series while the person who voiced Gohan in the future is Justin Briner, the dub voice actor for Izuku Midoriya from My Hero Academia.

They originally planned to go on longer, and as a first stzep were working on the next movie after Season 3 would finish and...just completely crashed. They couldn't find a way of making the movie work, and after several months finally gave up on doing it alltogether, facing reality that they were just not feeling it anymore - partially due to the stress of the copyright holders.
Their next step was the idea of doing Season 4 with original Animation, as in: Not using the copyrighted clips from the show, but having them completely redone in 3D. To prepare for that they did a number of "DragonshortZ", telling casual stories set between seasons 3 and 4, that gave fans some activity and them the time to prepare the models of the characters. But they realised, this wouldn't work as they hoped as well, so they officially scrapped their attempts to go further.
Kinda. Because that idea of original Animation to continue culminated in their newest series, HFIL, which...basically is exactly that, a continuation of the story, made with 100% their own animation. Only it's not telling the canon story, but instead uses their own ideas, focusing on other characters. That allows them to be creative on their own, avoid copyright strikes, and avoid using parts of the plot they struggle with.
So...in short, it's basically all the reasons they named, that led to them hitting a brick wall, but they now found their new way forward.

Teamfourstar themselves said they didn't want dbza to turn into the last season of scrubs. They planned to do the buu saga after the bojack movie but decided not to because they couldn't come up with a proper script for the movie, the passion was gone and they didn't want to put themselves through buu unless they knew they could put their all into it and it didn't help the fact that they had potential careers in the industry to think about.

So they stopped making DBZA for a variety of reasons.
A: All of the legal problems they would have to deal with an a constant basis was becoming to much trouble
B: Everyone on the team are adults with complicated lives, scheduling time for everyone to make an episode became a nightmare
C; Passion for other projects became more important to the members
D: Ending the series on what was the original intended ending of the show just felt right.

Ah the best guest star to narrate, (not gonna say it out right but if you goggle his screen name you’ll find out who he is) totally unrelated but the reason they stopped was I believe, burn out and Toei Animation hating that TFS was making the show, they were constantly getting hit with copyright strikes and they’re channel has nearly been deleted several times, it kinda just worn them down unfortunately.

Why did they stop doing DBZ Abridged...it sounds like it was actively harming their attempts to do professional voice acting. Toei's been super vindictive about it, some of them have lost out on roles they've been casted on once it's been found out they were TFS.

Btw the narrator guy (DJ sexdillaiore) real name is Christopher Sabat who voices Vegeta, Picollo among other characters in the original dub. He also voices All Might in MHA dub.

Not only was that punch so powerful that it stopped Goku from having kids it ACTIVELY erased him from the timeline. Which means that punch was so hard it broke space time.
