I’m surprised you guys didn’t guess something was amiss based off of the episode 16 title card!
I was like “oh, I wish they hadn’t seen that one. It kinda gives it away”…
But I was worried for nothing! 😂
I haven’t watched this show since it ended, so this has been really fun. That said, I really liked the kitty/Johnny episode. The fact that Danny can actually kinda get along with the “evil” ghosts is such a cool detail. Also, that ending…Boom going wild is always a treat.
Eh Really only a few of the ghosts that Danny fights are like actually evil most of them are just you know I guess tormented, which is what you’d expect ghosts to be
The episodes are in season 2. However if you make a video with the first 3 episodes of season 2 the rest of the season will pretty much balance out a little. But after the episode titled “ultimate enemy” you’ll have to do another 3 episode video to finish the season on its finale
Minor pet peeve but I hate when shows do the thing where when someone takes over someone else’s body or switches bodies with someone else, they use the voice actor for the character that switched bodies in the new body. So for example Walker’s voice actor voicing Dash when he takes over his body. It honestly would be so much better if they kept the same voice actors and also would give the VAs the chance to show their acting skills when they try to adapt the mannerism of a different character.
I disagree on account of the twist not being possible if Paulina sounded different as a result of the actor trying to change their voice. Overshadowing as a power really should be something we actively have to watch out for, it’s a unique writing tool that can come out of nowhere, but if we pay attention (such as the red eyes in the cover art) we can put the pieces together. Or failing that, be pleasantly surprised that we were fooled. If the answer were handed to us, that would be a wasted opportunity.
About there being a Danny Phantom comic: there is a graphic novel that takes place after the end of the series and it was released this year! And it was so well-received that there’s going to be a sequel to it in the future!
I think Johnny and Kitty’s relationship is a high school freshman dating the college senior guy situation. Id either put her at Danny’s age or Jazz’s (both are bad for different reasons)
Hey guys, in Danny Phantom season 2, on a lot of streaming services, they put s2 episode 8 before s2 episodes 6 and 7. I wanted to let you all know so you don’t accidentally watch it out of order if they did on the streaming service you all are using.
I agree with Boom, Danny’s mom, Maddie, is great. ^^ Also I love how Kitty is one of the few ghosts who don’t seem to view Danny as an enemy. Probably why fans like pairing her with Danny. 😆
I low-key appreciate that there’s always a reason as to how the ghosts return from the ghost zone, like Johnny in this one, when an episodic show like this could easily get away with not explaining that.
