Holy Shit! I am blown away by this show. The First episode was SUPER concerning with the level of sex jokes that were flying around. But this Red Lady arc was an absolute work of art! I'm really glad I stuck with it. And it really shows how some of the Yokai in Japanese mythology come to be. I hope that the Red Lady managed or will manage to find her daughter and the men who kidnaped her in the story, just for some closure on this story.

I can't remember the last time I've cried like that. Hell of an episode. Also my god what an amazing adaptation of a manga, has to be one of the best already

Maybe it's good thing Ruff didn't react to this show, this ep would have destroyed him as a father of two girls

Such a beautiful episode. I will say, I recommend reading ch. 16 of the manga. It gives her backstory a little more context. Some things were implied instead of specifically shown. Plus the art is phenomenal in the manga too!

^ This, they did a great job with it and it looked BEAUTIFUL start to finish (and not just the BS but the entire ep really) but there are a few key contexts(2 in particular come to mind) that ended up more implied in the ep than are explicitly shown like they are in the manga
