   I remember there being a theory that his mother didn't actually die, or at least, she wouldn't have. But that the guys running that dinky little back alley clinic probably harvested her organs and stuff and killed her because it was more profitable than what they would have gotten in payment for the treatment. And I mean, that IS the kind of world this is, a persons life doesn't mean much in Night City. Heck, when they were riding in that ambulance and the medic pulled the gun and changed course, that was basically the same thing. He probably wouldn't have been left alive once they got to the Scavengers, tore him apart for what cyberware he does have and threw the rest away.

      Genuinely insane head-ass take. If you enjoy the sub more that's perfectly fine, but this is literally a Western animated show set in the US. English is the primary language. Animation being done by a Japanese studio (who probably farmed out most of it to Korean studios tbqh) doesn't change that one iota. Touch grass, nerd.

      Aren't you people sick of the snob attitude? There are hundreds of anime where the English dubs are as good if not better than the Japanese ones. And this is one of them because the characters speak fucking English.

      This is the one anime where I disagree, the story is set in "USA" the characters are canonically speaking the English dub.

      Setting is created by Mike Pondsmith (an American), story by CD Project Red (Polish Studio), aside from Studio Trigger that did the animation nothing else about this is Japanese (that said the part in the sub where it tells you the tiger claws are speaking Japanese, always amused me).

    Just heard you mention the game, Is it good? I played it for the first few weeks it came out but was buggy. That prologue broke me a bit.

       They fixed pretty much all of the bugs. there's still the occasional one but it's just as playable as any popular game now.

    When I saw this in your schedule I had to read the plots of the episodes. Its a weird habit to make sure to not get too emotional and cry. The first episode is tough. I'm ready for this journey with you guys.
