Not really sure. We have a channel update coming soon explaining our plan after Rebels but we are taking a break as we usually do to see the overall response for the show. We loved the 1st season though!

@ruff Personally I would recommend on finishing Rebels before going back to Mando. It would make much more sense in the long run for things I obviously can’t say but it’ll be up to you guys anyway.

@patreon_38103521 Exactly! You can't watch the second season of Mando before finishing Rebels. It would ruin it!

Hopefully it performs well. Later seasons are wonderful.

Rebels always had a bit of a troubling start with the fandom at the time it released as it was around the time Disney originally cancelled Clone Wars at season 5, so people naturally got pissed that this new show was replacing clone wars, and for some time, completely ignored it, myself included. I think it was around COVID I finally started watching it, and when I started, I binged all 4 seasons. I absolutely loved it. Season 2 was probably my favorite, but the rest are absolutely great as well.

sadly unless you guys want to start andor or acolyte you'll be spoiled on plot points that start with rebels or make no sense till you come back to rebels. I think you guys would enjoy the other shows after you finish all of rebels

Come on viewers. Lets get those Rebels videos more clicks/views. The show is a necessity if they want to continue watching future star wars projects.

They can watch Season 2 of Mando without watching Rebels. If I recall correctly (and I can't be specific because I don't want to spoil anything), S2 of Mando has a character show up that the crew will STILL know because they watched a series with that character in it already. That character will eventually bring up a name that the crew won't recognize unless they watch Rebels...BUT they don't go deeper into anything. Their plot point in that episode literally ends with them mentioning that character name from Rebels and that's all. There may be more stuff that I'm not thinking of, but in the grand scheme of things, it didn't matter to me and I still enjoyed the show without feeling confused.

In my opinion, the only Star Wars series that shouldn't be watched without watching Rebels first is Ashoka. I've only recently started watching Rebels and have followed all the other Star Wars series (apart from the animated ones) just fine without it, but Ashoka is the exception. I had to look a lot of stuff about that show up on the wiki because without seeing Rebels first, I had no idea what was going on.

Just want to clarify, I didn't watch any of the animated series, so I can't speak on if watching Rebels influences understanding those ones or not. However, apart from Ashoka, I think all other live actions should be fine.

@kristina1253715 gang, if you didn’t watch it then how can you say it’s skippable?

@patreon_22160040 Because I still understood what was going on in Mando Season 2 (apart from one name drop) and all the other live action series (apart from Ashoka) without watching Rebels first. That's all I'm saying.

@kristina1253715 I mean I do get that for context of Mando alone, but if you want that characters story, in the order it’s meant to be presented, then it makes no sense to skip around.

@patreon_22160040 Going by that, ppl would have to watch Clone Wars and Rebels just to understand the backstory of a side character and a name they mention in one episode of Season 2 of Mando...a lot of ppl don't want to do that and a lot haven't.

Me? If I watched Rebels after Mando Season 2, I'd just be like "Hey, it's the side character from that episode of Mando! This must be some of their backstory, neat! I'll learn more about them." "Oh, that's the name they mentioned! Now I can see who that is." No big thing.

Plus, mostly all of Star Wars has been presented to us out of order...didn't stop me from enjoying the universe.

@kristina1253715 nah I’m hearing you, but the Filonii release order is Clone Wars, Rebels, Mando, they already messed that up going into Bad Batch early, just stick to the lineup and no one will complain other than the impatient mfs

I saw your updated video. My only question is, why would you charge the premium price for Rebels if you're only going to watch one season? When the best seasons are after season 1. I paid it thinking y'all would finish the show.
