Twisted Metal

Starring Anthony Mackie (MCU) and Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn 99, Encanto, Vox Machina), I think the gang would really enjoy this show. It's been a sleeper hit with me and everyone I've known to give it a shot. The show is based on the Twisted Metal car combat video games, and is full of over the top action, comedy, and surprisingly heartfelt character writing. The show currently has two seasons out with 10 and 12 episodes respectively, and each episode is only about half an hour long. Season 3 is in the works and has added Mark Hamill to the cast.

Elevator pitch for season 1: In a post-apocalyptic wasteland, John Doe, a talkative delivery driver, is given a mission to traverse the desolate United States to deliver a mysterious package with unknown contents. He faces a life-altering opportunity but must confront ruthless marauders in deadly and destructive vehicles to secure a chance at a better future.
