Is there the possibility of having more than 2 episodes a week like there was before diamond tier became weekly? I know you guys record a lot and have personal lives, I’m just curious as a someone who became a fan just this past year and I know there was a bit of a consensus that people wanted more than just 2 a week.
As far as I remember they have said that for TV shows they only do two episodes to where it combined lines up to roughly an hour long so they can have more time for more shows and movies.
well if they rounded down to 20 minutes, thats 3 episodes per hour 🧐
but i gotta be honest it worked super well for the 1st cour of s5. start and conclusion to each joint training fight in each vid was nice
We didn't round down. Any show that is under 30 minutes we do 2 episodes. Any show over 30 minutes we do 1. Even before Diamond had a schedule we didn't release more than 2 episodes of MHA per week. Yes sometimes you would get 6 episodes in a single week but then you would generally go 3 weeks without an episode. Even when we handled binge chunks we made sure it fit our standard of 2 eps per week. It was just released differently
As much as we'd love to watch more than 2 eps of MHA per week its just not feasible. We have an extremely diverse audience of people who like a variety of things. Doing more episodes of MHA would mean we'd have to remove other series, movies or projects and that's just not something we're interested in doing as we like the variety and it would alienate whichever audiences show was replaced. Hope that helps clarify a bit
@ruff Ok that makes sense, thank you for the answer! Ps, you guys are gonna LOVE the rest of the current season.
