They're really good movies, at least in my opinion. The guys had watched the lotr trilogy a good while ago. And they enjoyed those movies, so I think they'd really like these ones.

Agreed. I love the hobbit movies personally and I think they’ll enjoy them too without nitpicking like some fans do cause its not as good as lotr :)
