Question of the Week: What movie or show has the best soundtrack of all time?

I would love to see you guys do “Happy feet” “Baby Driver” “Anastasia” continue “Castlevania” lol And maybe watch the sequel series.

Cowboy Bebop has to be my hands-down pick for best soundtrack.

My Best Friend Is a Vampire has to be the best for me

Howard Shore's Lord of the Rings score is timeless. I don't think anything else comes close so far

Lord of the Rings, especially if we can have all 3 movies together has to take the cake for me. But even just Fellowship by itself still probably wins. I hear the shire theme and get a little emotional every damn time. 

I think Deadpool and wolverine has a banging soundtrack

Kill Bill 

Mha honestly has some incredible and iconic soundtracks

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Jawbreaker, those movies pretty much inspired my taste in music

Personally I love the soundtrack to My Hero Academia

Fairy tail anime has an amazing soundtrack. Movie? Most 2000s movies (you've seen Jimmy Neutron and hopefully saw the original Digimon for examples here)

For me, I would say that the movie with the most songs that i love is Shrek 2! The bangers include: Accidentally in love, funky town, little drop of poison, Changes, I need a hero, AND livin la vida loca!!

Arcane 

I think Lost has an incredibly underrated soundtrack! Especially around season 3

People have mentioned some really good ones…I still listen to the Mortal Kombat 1995 soundtrack a lot 

That's a hard question. Though one of my favourites is Deadpool & Wolverine for my movie choice. For my TV, I may have to go with Doctor Who, specifically David Tennant's era (Not saying others are bad or lesser, just in my personal opinion).

The Vampire Lestat, I mean they had actual songs that he performed on stage in concert. Personal favorites in order:

brutal love 

stained glass eyes 

when I call out your name 

Certainly doctor who for me. I can't get enough of Murray Gold's compositions.

Especially concerning they're often played by either the BBC National Orchestra of Wales or the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

The Bruce Faulkner score for Dragonball Z is both riddled with controversy and unmatched in terms of anime music hype for me. 

movie wise probably Queen of the Damned. 

I don't know if the entire soundtrack is good enough but I think Fire Force has the best use of the bass i have ever heard because it amplifies all the big hits so much.

Shrek 2, How to train your dragon franchise 

(Techno movie with Daft Punk) and Cyberpunk Edgerunners.

I know it's already talked about a lot, and those who know will probably think I'm biased (which I likely am), but Star Wars has some of the most epic, emotional, and dynamic pieces of music I've ever heard. That's one of the big reasons why it was so different from all the other sci-fi/space series of the time. Rather than have a soundtrack consisting of ambience and robotic noises, John Williams went "let's make the whole franchise orchestral", which helped give that epic, dramatic, opera feel to Star Wars, at least in my opinion lmao.

Movies: Shrek 2, KPDH, The Wiz, Roll Bounce and Into the Spiderverse

Shows: ATLA, Steven Universe, Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss and Yu Yu Hakusho

Transformers (1986). That soundtrack went way harder than a movie about a kid's show had any right to. 

Honestly same answer as my comfort show from last week, Julie and the Phantoms. I will never forgive Netflix for cancelling that show. The entire soundtrack is in heavy rotation on my Spotify. 

For movies I would say both the spider-verse films and Predator 2.

For shows I would say Dragon Ball Z both the original Japanese score and the early dub score and Steven Universe.
