My answer is 100% going to be Stargate: SG-1. It’s very enjoyable and easy to follow if you go from start to finish. RDA’s humor gives it a lighter feeling than most serious sci-fi shows. Past season 5, the story gets richer, with seasons 8 and 9 being peak story, in my opinion. It’s also very interesting to see how the show’s actors take the characters in their own direction from the characters in the movie, which star actors like James Spader and Kurt Russell. I could go on and on about it, but it really truly is a very enjoyable show.

@elias46795 weird fact: I accidentally named my son Daniel Jackson. Accidentally, because while I love the film (have not seen the shows), Daniel was my husband's middle name and a common name on my side of the family. I didn't realize what we'd done until someone asked when he was about 3 months old. 😆 It got even better when my son grew to be a young teenager and he actually resembled James Spader in the movie. I ended up making him a costume.

@stephanie1198014 that’s hilarious! Now you have to judge him severely if he doesn’t grow up to be an archaeologist, linguist, and ancient Egyptian historian.

Agents of SHIELD for sure. My favorite show of all time, and being able to binge all the angst and sturm und drang Fitzsimmons went through instead of going week by week year by year would save me so much heartache!

(Note: I kind of already had this experience when I went on the 2+ year journey of watching Omn1Media watch it for the first time. Watching to him react to everything spoiler-free and then theorize where things would go next after every episode really was like watching the show for the first time all over again, and his weekly drops were appointment viewing for me.)

Lost: The early-season island mysteries, psychological tension, and massive community-driven fan theories made it a cultural phenomenon that relied heavily on first-time discovery.

I was thinking about putting maybe Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad, but I think those shows are better as a rewatch now than they were when I was watching them through the first time. Because of this, I think my answer has to be My Hero Academia. That show put me through the wringer emotionally every time I watched a new episode and while there is still impact watching it through again or watching other people experience it for the first time, I wish I could feel those moments with the same intensity as I did the first time around.
