The recommend tab is a great idea, just wondering if it being anonymous is the best idea?wouldn't it make more sense to show the top most likely ones to be picked so our votes don't ( for lack of a better term) go to waste, because you could vote on anything something maybe not a lot of people would think about. Wouldn't it make more sense to pick out of a top 4, or 6, or etc. It would also give us a chance to be happy about a series that we could see might be coming soon, or a :aww so close, maybe next time" moment. Still being able to vote for the random movie/show..like Idk sharknado.
It would also dwindle down some of the same show votes being split, like if some vote for "the flash" & some vote for "CW flash". That could be a possible 20 votes for the same show but split up looking like it only got 10 or something. Unless you already take something like this into consideration? This was just one example I was on the recommend tab with simplified/random/guessed numbers.( you can type in "the flash" (which is the tv show ) & get 2 different options to vote for).
@thomas424614 They said it on a stream, Ruff explained the votes are private for the reason that it makes people send obscure stuff and if they can see whats voted for they are likely to just pile onto the most voted thing, he also said anything thsts spelt different but the same he combines manually at the end of the week, like you memtioned the Flash theres only one for it now
@xavierbarthies hmm, that does make sense, it's just i can see the private recommendations both sides.. Just re-read my other response, the "unlikely " was for remembering where you head or read it from not doubting what was said.
@thomas424614 Theres no specific timeframe and it doesn't affect anything. They get combined when we look through them when deciding next ventures.
