We spent some time messing with the forum to make it better. There are way more topics to post in now, and we’re continuing to work on making it an easy community tool for everyone.

The new Announcements tab at the top of the forum is where we post the important stuff. Every announcement automatically pings your notification bell, and big ones also go out by email, like this one. Don’t want emails? Every one has an unsubscribe button at the bottom, and you’ll still see everything on the forum.

💬 Website Comments Are Back 💬

Comments are back on for videos across the website! We figured out a way to monitor them and easily weed out the bad eggs.

BE RESPECTFUL. We have no issue banning members from communicating if they are abusing the features. Keep it fun for everyone.

Badges
(Website Members Only)

Website members pick any 4 collectible badges to show next to your name on the forum. A brand new set unlocks for every month you’ve been subscribed, starting with the Ice Cream Crew, and there are badges to earn just by watching too: milestones for videos and hours watched, Completionist badges for finishing whole seasons, and Explorer badges for checking out our side channels.

Every badge you collect lives in your Badge Book, so you can flip through your whole collection and show it off. You’ll find it under the account menu (click your profile picture), then tap Badges, or head straight to sortastupid.net/badges.

Badges are in beta! The badge system will probably go through multiple changes while we figure out a badge and trading system that works best for our community. We are keeping a close eye on your feedback to make sure it stays fun for everyone, so expect things to shift around a little.

⏳ The Legacy Badge ⏳

The Legacy Badge is exclusive to website members. Have an active website membership before Sunday, August 23 at 11:59 PM PST and the Legendary rarity Legacy Badge is yours, as a thank you for being with us through the first few months of our brand new membership system while we tested everything and worked out the bugs. Patreon and YouTube memberships do not qualify (sorry :(, we still love you). Once the deadline passes, it can never be earned again. Join at sortastupid.net/memberships.

Website members vote on what we react to next. Gold members earn 1 vote per month and Diamond members earn 2. Votes stack and roll over, and you can pile as many as you want onto a single pick. Tallies are private. Only we see them. You’ll find it in the menu under Recommend, or at sortastupid.net/recommendations.

Important: Official recommendations go through the Recommend feature. Irrelevant recommendation spam is not allowed, in the comments or on the forum. You will be banned from further commenting if you do.

Heads up, Patreon and YouTube members: Badges and voting are excluded from your plans due to API limitations on those platforms. You can swap your membership over at sortastupid.net/memberships. Just make sure the email you use matches your current account, and that it doesn’t automatically link to your Apple or Google pay method. That creates an entirely separate account, and we’d rather save you the hassle of having to reconnect everything.

The homepage now remembers where you left off, with a Continue Watching row and progress bars, and you can save any video to My Watch Later from the account menu. Your watch history has been tracking all along, so your rows are probably already waiting for you.

Tap any of our cards above to open our personal channels. The group channel at twitch.tv/sortastupidcrew is now just for group events, and you can also watch every stream right on the site under the Live tab, all at once, switching between streams and chats however you want.
