   (Non-Spoiler Explanation) Anodyte DNA kinda doesn’t exist, long story short, they’re pure energy, because of that, Ben can’t scan them into the Omnitrix.

      i always interpreted it as since Verdona is Bens grandmother, he already has anodite DNA in him and so doesn’t have an anodite transformation for the same reason he doesn’t have a human one

         Interesting. So maybe since the Omnitrix is the last resort for mass extinction of most species that’s why it can’t scan an Anodite. It’s literally life energy made up of all the other beings in the universe. Ergo as long as there is living beings in the universe so do all Anodites. So my theory being that the omnitrix only scans DNA of intelligent beings because they have the most potential to end their existence or others one way or the other.

         Honestly give me a Gwen series. Later on Gwen gets more powerful and smarter as time passed. And there are moments where she has to dial back her power or else she will hurt people and or loose her humanity.
