So taking it back to the Ben 10k episode(no spoilers ahead), the reason Gwen brought Ben to the future in the first place was so that Ben 10k could see just how much he had changed since being that young kid, but, this inadvertently leads to young Ben making the decision to never become like Ben 10k, making it so that THAT future no longer exists. More time travel logic will be explained later, but I wanted to clarify that part lol.
