Damn the ending is wild :0 Not gonna lie, it was pretty cliche edgy manga author but I think yeah, I think people wouldn't of believed a more optimistic outcome.
I don't think free will is as much of an illusion as the show makes out, but freedom at the extreme is definitely the same as tyranny and anarchy, and that's something people need to understand nowadays. And the cliche of history repeating when ignored is still golden. It seems crazy that the Jaegerists were still in power, and that armin and them failed to get a real peace treaty going but it does make sense when u think about the fact the universe was still way before contemporary. Funny to think that Eren might be that universes jesus or satan... and kinda wild and super Japanese that Mikasa stayed single her whole life.
Great show nonetheless

I can't believe they skipped and missed the first part of the credits and missed what it did and meant. That is actually tragic ..

I haven't watched the entire video. I wanted to hear your review of the show. The ending was spoiled for me, and I have only watched until Eren leaves the survey corps in Season 4, and Levi has to fight his men because of the Beast Titan. So, seeing how the ending unfolds and affects my opinions will be interesting.
I think the dislike other fans and I had about the show was that Eren wasn't committed to the 100% eradication of the rest of the world or the plot of how Mikasa mirrored Emir. There are other small details like this that I think fans didn't like about the ending. Fans weren't mad that the ending was sad or dark or the fact that Eren had to die. Maybe some people, but the ending of the cycle of war repeating itself didn't seem out of place for this story for many fans.
When people say Attack on Titan or other shows aren't political, I do not believe they argue that anime does not have ideologies or political topics. Like One Piece, I am sure everyone knows that there is racism in there with the representation of the Fishman people. It is that good stories have "Political" topics or ideas integrated well within the story. Like Attack on Titan, it has a political take on War. When people say anime isn't political, they are arguing that the values or the political language of the modern day aren't implemented in the actions or dialogue of the characters in poor execution. For example, many modern Disney movies include LGBTQ characters or representations. However, it often feels forced and usually gives the impression of "Look, Look, a gay person, we are so inclusive and diverse." While something like One Piece makes it feel natural and important, Like Mr. 2 (Bon Clay), Bonchan is written as a really great character by Oda, who happens to be part of the LGBTQ community (Queer or whatever). There was a reboot of Charlie's Angles, and in the film, there was always weird dialogue that men said to degrade women, or the female characters would say odd sentences such as "Figues, a white man would think that, or are you going to mansplain to me on how to do my job, or women can't be a spy go and make me a sandwich like you were made to do." The film never prioritized the story and made the world and characters feel hollow, and the weird dialogue would often take you out of the film because modern pop words were used. Another example is if a film character says Slay, Sheesh, or Rizz. Long story short, films and shows can be political, but most fans argue these projects integrate political topics, ideologies, and themes in natural ways that enrich and fit the story and avoid them feeling like modern-day arguments.
I think Attack on Titan is a good 9/10 or 10/10 up till season 3. Season 4 loses me quite a bit, and I have issues here and there. But hopefully, after watching season 4, your reactions could change my opinion. I am glad yall enjoyed the show and can't wait to see season 4 with you guys.

yeah bro before SortaStupid they were each anime reaction channels so they've each reacted to a lot of other shows on their individual patreons. They still each have their own anime channels but Ruff changed his to a One Piece only channel and Boom still reacts to some other shows along with One Piece on his channel. SeeOhKnee has also done reactions int he past. You should check out their patreons to see what animes they've watched in the past if you wanna see their other reactions.

On a happier note what made this show so special to me is how every reveal changes the show forever. You cant watch season 1 the same after the Reiner reveal, or after the basement, or after the future vision and paths mechanics. Each one changes EVERYTHING about the show so it's never the same, and this finale... seeing Eren's true intentions does the same. Again thank you for expressing your thoughts and your viewpoints as alot of what ya'll said made sense.

I loved this reaction and AOT will forever remain my favorite anime of all time. I've been a part of the AOT manga community for a long time, and unfortunately people became especially toxic after the ending due to it's portrayal of Eren as not a savior figure, but an idiot and a coward (as it should be). People really saw Eren as the good guy unironically even as they saw him kill billions they would make excuses for him.... and some very very right wing subreddits which are thankfully now banned took a little too much joy in Eren killing minorities while ignoring the grander themes of the show. The negativity spread so much that any mention of AOT will have people come out the woodwork to say it's bad cuz of x,y, or z cuz they didnt get their full genocide ending.

People can disagree about the show without being bigoted or politically biased.
Personally I didnt like way the story was written overall from season 3.5 (Kruger Armin/Mikasa drop) due to how it was revealed to be a Steins Gate, but without the buildup, and felt too rushed and like a genre change.
I liked the animation and action, but not the overall difference in how the story was written, as to me it felt very rushed, and the story seemed to change too quickly. I personally am a big fan of time-paradox type shows (Dark, Steins Gate etc) but this is not one of them for me.
Just because people dont like a show you like, doesnt mean they are automatically invalid. Not liking a show,
then mentioning their reason for it, is how it should be, instead of just saying people dont like it for the sake of not liking it.
That leaves people with nothing to go on, no way to find out what people didnt like or not.
Dont just brand anyone who disagrees with you, as crazy or politically insane/biased, you just self-reporting as incredibly insecure that way.
You dont need others to verify what you like or dont like. That is subjective.
Claiming someone who disagrees with you as automatically insane however defeats the point of people having the option of liking something because they like something.

Something that you should do a reaction to is the video toaru-op 1-16, it's some of the best anime openings made and is definitely a really good must-watch for anime openings!!!
I wouldn't watch those ones as they have been interpolated to 60fps, animation looks terrible now lol, also they might do it if there's enough of a demand to it otherwise they have a very busy schedule lol
