   My favorite part of this is the call back. What Andreas said to the core there was word for word what Anne said to Sasha in the season one finale.

      Also prof x was able to fix the portal at the end of marcy's journal, that and the creater said that he is currently working on a movie so we may see a return to amphibia soon

   if you want to see the inspiration for a lot of both final fights, you should check out an anime called Senki Zesshou Symphogear, both the battle last episode and this one are like, 1:1 homages to that show.

   And to think the events of Amphibia (besides the timeskip) happened a few months before the events of Owl House began. That was a busy year for Earth and connected other realms.
