Never understood the PB hate, I never saw her as a bad person. Yeah, she made some questionable decisions, but they were originally well-meaning ideas that went sideways. For someone who grew up by herself, she could have easily been much worse.

It is a shame this show was cancelled, hence the strange late-story elements and plot upheavals. I imagine these episodes featuring Gumbald would have been separated between others like the FP rap one, but they simply didn't have the time.

  well it wasn't cancelled like other shows, the showrunner said when they noticed CN ordered less episodes than usual they knew they had to start wrapping up. He mentioned as well that both parts hashed it out so that the amount of episodes left were satisfactory.

A lot of call backs from the first episode. Yes, we've seen the Docile versions of all 3 of her relatives in the first season and Mr. Creampuff who Bubblegum was trying to resurrect randomly with the decorpsinator serum. Very understandable why she created the candy people to be stupid because that stuff with Uncle G was a lesson that if she makes candy people the way she made them, some will come out with her intellect and plot and scheme. She had to do it to get the family she wanted.

Uncle Gumbald, Aunt Lolly, and Cousin Chicle all reverted back to their original forms in the finale of Elements, when LSP used her anti-elemental powers to turn everything back into its "true shape", which also explains Jake's transformation from earlier.

Actually you have seen all of PB's candy relative before. In fact Cousin Chicla and Aunt Lolly both appear in the very first episode of AT. Of course we don't know it at the time because they were transformed.

  Well, we can find a bit more in the mother gum episode, as we known the mother gum itself is about 1000 years as it came directly after the mushroom war. How much time between that and Bonnie’s formation is unknown though, so somewhere between 800 to 1000 years, no later or sooner
