"A
fiver and a honey-bun" and "a white monster and a cliff-bar" are some
of the most relatable sentences i've ever heard in my life, holy fuck

its wild that they KAI added Kid Vegeta, King Vegeta and Bardock into the scene where Vegeta is talking to Kakarot. It was an interesting choice, but i think the solo vegeta monologue from Z was more impacftful

That was not a Kai thing. The original Z version had young vegeta, King Vegeta and Bardock in there as well.

the biggest disrespect was Frieza kitty walking away after catching Goku around the neck with his tail and slinging an elbow in his gut.

Gohan's probably traumatized after all the crap he has to go through. Remember, he's like five or six during Namek Arc.

I forgot how long Frieza and Goku fought for, even in Dragon Ball Z Kai.

Is it just me or is anyone else confused why the music is so different?

He's watching with the Kikuchi re-score. Originally, Kai had the score done by Kenji Yamamoto (which is what you're probably familiar with), however due to plagiarist issues, he was replaced, and subsequently Toei had to rush to re-score the entirety of Kai 1.0 for all of its releases, which is why, pretty much every official release of Kai you'll find, has the replacement score. Personally I'd prefer it if he watched it with the Yamamoto score (since it was tailored towards it, and just overall is more fitting), but he's already gotten this far without it, and honestly finding all of Kai 1.0 with that score is kind of a pain in the ass.
