The fact that Asta can be hurt by magic by proxy means that magic can work on him, so him being buffed by magic would work as long as the magic doesn't come into direct contact with the anti-magic blade.

In fact we've seen Vanessa's mom straight up control Asta with magic. Plus, if Asta was as anti-magic as you said he wouldn't be able to be teleported with Finral's Spatial Magic.
