Miner note, but I guess Shimmer (the bad girl character we were shocked was a prisoner) didn't have powers in Season 1. She was just an elite combatant and agent of Kobra/Queen Bee/The Light. The Reach gave her her powers, not upgraded them. I've watched the show several times, always thought she had powers, turns out she never did till this episode. In comics she gets her meta-human powers from human scientists earlier on. Always room to learn something new lol

And this is one of my main arguments when ever people question why batman doesn't kill his villans, when someone that powerful dictates if someone is worth living or dying based on thier own morality it always ends bad, because slowly they will find less and less justification to end someones life. Look at injustice superman and how that went

Personally, I don't blame Batman, but I blame the Gotham Justice System. Those Psychopaths break out of prison constantly. At one point do you see that they cannot be redeemed and just give them the death penalty.

Exactly. Thank you. Someone finally gets it. I see so many people trying to say this or that about wanting Batman to at least kill a small group of extreme criminals, Joker always include, but never realize how slipper that slope is.

I love Young Justice But I Still think, it would have been better if WE the audience found out about Aqualad/Artemis being undercover and faking her death, when M'gann does. have the audience believe he's traitor and killed Artemis right to that point when M'gann fries his brain and sees everything. I say this because we really only get a couple of episodes with him being thought as a traitor, and it's not enough time to cement the idea as plausible as a lot of people are so in disbelief it.

Yeah but if that happened they would need to scrap artemis as tigress cause everyone would put it together. Plus I think the point is less about us believing he is a traitor and more watching how far they will fall to make sure this plan goes well.

I honestly agree. Sometimes its great to get the twist and see how far it goes. Like in Invincible when we see what happens in the very first episode, it makes all the following episodes much more tense because we're left wondering what they have up their sleeves

I get why Kaldur and Dick wanted to keep the whole scheme to as few people as possible to play it safe. But to be fair to M'gann we had an entire episode in S1 specifically dedicated to her freaking out and breaking everyone's brains ACCIDENTALLY when she thought Artemis had been killed. So I can't really blame her for this lol

To also be fair to Nightwing, he wasn't aware that Megan was frying people's brains left and right.

Same. I can blame her. It's morally wrong to psychically lobotomize anyone and should only be used as a last resort. M'Gann used it as a first resort.
