The ending made me tear up like crazy. The action was amazing, it’s a lot better than what people give it credit to

If you want to know how rancid this fandom has become as a direct result of thunderbolts, all you need to do is look at the fact that in a show tackling racial injustice with a black lead stepping up big time.... more people are in the comments desperate to absolve a violent white man of his wrongdoings. This fandom cares more about an unlikable piece of sh*t who tried to murder the protagonist, threatened to beat up the protagonist, disrespected the protagonist, got violent with a civilian, and brutally executed a man for a crime he didn't commit and then repeatedly lied about it and never at any point regrets ANY of it, but doesn't care about the protagonist. The racism in display in this fandom is so transparent. You have to consider that this show was written and airing during a time when blm protests were much fresher in the minds of people, and yet fandom keeps conveniently ignoring the image of walker murdering a guy for somrthing he didn't do, lying about it, and then immediately going on to violently rip the wings off a black man and try to murder him in the exact same way. But walker stans never ever engage in honest discussion about that, they just bleat about walker killing a terrorist, thereby proving Sam's speech right. The label is used to avoid thinking about the implications of what's actually happening. The fandom doesn't acknowledge thst the flagsmashers started out as a group stealing food and medicine for people forced into camps at gunpoint, supplies the government's were hoarding. This is canon. But that plight is fully ignored, bc "terrorists" is easier to say. And karli is a 19 year old biracial black girl, so of course fandom demonises her even though she dies in Sam's arms saying she's sorry. I'm glad the sorta stupid crew engaged with the themes of the show a lot more intelligently and honestly than most of fandom, saw through walker's bs, and recognised that walker came within and inch of murdering sam. The comment section could learn a bit from that.
Anyway, Sam Wilson continues to be a great character. I love his louisiana background, and that the show takes its tome showing he was always worthy of that shield - it was just a question of whether the shield and what it represents was worth HIM. His training montage and subsequent absolutely insane combat maneuvers with the shield are such a delight to watch, and I'm already excited to see you guys react to Cap 4 - you're gonna LOVE the action choreography. Sam is SO good.

Walker broke rules of engagement. He violently, horrifically butchered a man for a crime that man did NOT commit. And this is AFTER Walker also after walker got violent with a civilian witness, ruined the one chance to end things peacefully, stole evidence, took the serum in secret, tried to beat sam up, and then tried to murder sam after being asked to out his weapon down and come in peacefully. Walker is nothing but an entitled white man who reaches for violence against any who stand against him. Especially if they're not white.
His job was not to murder people in cold blood in foreign countries. Y’all really show how little you know about these characters. Steve never had a man begging for his life and then caved his face in. John will never be Captain America material because of his mindset, ego, and the way he was trained as a soldier. The most important part of being Cap is your morals and ideals. The whole show went over your head.

Walker is a mixed bag for me. You see in the series the struggles. I feel like it is hard to sympathise with him cause we don't get the WHOLE story. He was a solder Hero in the Army, but Army is a team thing. A diffrent team thing then the Avengers. Avengers are indeviduals working together, Army has one leader. Also he had to proof himself. That is why he follows Sam. His struggles are more low key hinted at, while we KNOW the backstory to our heros. How did he get his medals? I would have loved to see the deepdive into what he hinted at in the mall talking to his friend. Also you automaticly weigh his actions against Steves. Also not fair. While Sam has his backstory so you know he isn't Steve. That were just my feeling with the whole walker situation. But I also didn't like him =D He is set up for you to hate at the beginning, cause he "stole" the shield. At the end he was just a solder following orders. Just like Cap but Steve knew when to follow his moral code. He saw the corruption and went his own way. It is hard to like Walker but I can see that he is not the "bad guy" He just is not Steve. Also Killing the guy.... our "heros" don't kill out of revenge.... but it is often explored, that it is hard to follow your moral code, and hinted at that the thought are there. Endgame, Thanos. There were no stones and he was on a other Planet, they didn't have a reason to kill him, Thor did it anyway. I love the Marvel univers for that kind of mindgames. What would Steve do? What would Ironman do?
It was a series going into the characters of Sam and Bucky. Loved it a lot =D can't wait for you to see Loki. =)

It's because of racism. People glaze walker up and straight up lie about his actual canon actions. If sam did half the bad sh*t walker does, people would want the character dead and gone. But walker is white, so fandom bends over backwards to glaze him up.
He's a great representation for veterans with ptsd that are just hung out to dry by their government.

Black widow was filmed and finished before the shows, but it was pushed backed so many times cuz of covid that it released straight to streaming at closer time to the shows. Scar Jo was actually pretty mad the movie wasnt released in theaters.

Since Loki has two seasons I think you guys should possibly consider watching the first season with double episodes an upload.
I'm not sure how they will handle Loki tbh. They're doing release order, which, IF they do it with Loki, means we get season 1 of Loki, followed by 11 movies (here I include the Guardians special and Werewolf by Night), and 7 shows, then season 2 of Loki.
This series leads into Thunderbolts and of course Captain America 4.
Only after Black widow and Hawkeye.
Also coming from someone who has seen every MCU and XMen products, What If... is not a necessary watch and kinda goes downhill as it is exactly what the title says -- What If this happened instead
They will likely enjoy the heck out of What If 🤔.
I did not like Walker even at the end of the series HOWEVER he has a little more character development in the next movie he appears in, this show just did a really good job setting him up for that movie.

From what I remember, people didn’t like Walker because he was Captain America. That was I believe the point for not just the show but the comics as well. However, after he became U.S Agent, people started to enjoy him more.
If you like the fact that the show is both self-contained and broadens the universe you are going to love Loki XD season 1 of the show is in my opinion not necessarily better than Wandavision or this, but as a full story with both season it is definitely the best D+ show. Can't wait to see what you guys think about it
I can't wait for em to get to Daredevil and Jessica Jones and I will say Wandavision was def more creative. Agents of shield is better written than Secret Invasion i'd skip the Secret invasion marvel show

I might be the only one who doesn't like WandaVision at all. It's my least favourite show of all the mcu tv shows. I really don't get why people like it more than The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and even Loki.
There are others who liked Wandavision but didn't like the ending. I was fine with it and unlike this and Loki it justified being a show instead of a movie 🤔.
Wandavison is more creative than Loki and Falcone least to me it was and it was also really much more emotional to me than Falcon story was. I'm personally hyped for em to get to daredevil and Jessica jones

Yes they were terrorists but I’m so tired of ppl like you misunderstanding Sam’s point in not calling them that. The point is that by just calling them terrorists in the media, you take away the “why” of their actions and are just left with the terror. It’s a manipulation tactic by the government to ensure that these problems are never noticed by the public and therefore are never fixed, leading to more terrorists in the future. I hate to tell you this but if the Founding Fathers of America lived today, they’d also be branded terrorists regardless of their motive and message. That’s how bad it is
TBF them blowing up buildings and killing others is what may get them that label, it's not just a matter of them being villainized 🤔.

This was my favorite of the MCU Series. Captain America has always been my favorite MCU character, regardless if it's Steve, Walker or Sam.
John walker in the comics is "US Agent" that's his name and works for her with a Squad so yeah suicide squad like. amanda waller in DC who runs the suicide squad who is able to get criminals who have done bad things jobs working for her and not be in prison. basically its, you work for me or you'll go to jail, that's why john walker aka US agent was able to walk off into the sunset lol
Harley quin had done way worse things but at least john walker has a way back to redemption. John Walker was actually a good guy before being captain America then fell under the weight and was also corrupted by the power. that's why i like Steve because he was so good in every way to do the right thing every single time that he was never able to be corrupted by the serum. everyone with the serum had turned into a bad guy at some point except Steve. i also think thats why sam shouldn't take the serum even though i think he would probably be fine

The difference is - without makjng excuses for wanda here - that she did it unintentionally at first, and regretted it when confronted woth the truth. And she fixed it. Walker goes on to NEVER admit thst what he did was wrong, never regrets it, never makes amends for it. And in fact if you've seen tbolts you know what he does for the next 3 years. So... yeah.
and that marks the end of CAPTIAN AMERICA And the Winter Soldier while still isn't my favorite of the Disney plus shows but still decent honestly solid 8 out of 10 it was good and now on to one of my personal favorites LOKI it's definitely one the best imo and I cannot wait for you guys to see it
