It's crazy the lineage of training for the main characters in star wars is, Yoda trained Dooku, who trained Qui-Gon, who taught Obi-Wan, who trained Anakin, who trained Ahsoka.
yall could watch the kenobi series while u watch the long ones, its only 6 eps
Qui-Gon actually kept Obi-Wan away from Dooku for all of his training. Dooku and Obi-Wan didn't meet until Attack of the Clones.
While Qui-Gon was respectful and friendly to his Master, he had no illusions about who he was and exactly what he was capable of.
You can definitely watch tales of the underworld it’s just as short and really good just like these are, tales of the empire is pretty weak ngl
If you want to, you could also watch Tales of the Underworld.
Tales of the Empire has a character you won't meet until you get to The Mandalorian, but I say you could still watch it without issue.

I think in the first ahsoka one, that was definitely supposed to be the tiger could feel the Force in her/she Force tamed it. There's a few other examples in the franchise of them using wild animals as a way to connect with the Force, I always think it's really cool, cause its like animals' instincts in real life.

Please for the love of God, just get through Rebels before you watch any other shows. Rebels and Clone Wars are the foundation for projects going forward, and while you "can" watch Bad Batch and understand it, you're missing alot of little details that'll enhance your experience. Alot of the shows going forward are made with Rebels and Clone Wars in mind, for better or for worse.
Definitely do Tales of the Underworld. Both stories are completely isolated from everything beyond Clone Wars, so you can watch them whenever. Especially enjoyed the Ventress story.
Yeah these tales were so good when they first out. The next ones are even better. Honestly I was hoping you would start with these but you might regret it when you watch Bad Batch 😂 IYKYK. The way Bad Batch starts is so awesome because it shows just how lucky the Bad Batch are.
I think you guys would actually like The Acolyte. Hopefully you give it a chance eventually. It’s set 100 years before Phantom Menace and it foreshadows some things from the prequel trilogy so you could watch it at any point.
Mace is not unlike Anakin on the inside, and he has had brushes with the dark side. He buries all that under the rules and protocol because he probably knows to follow his instincts is to tempt fate. And I think he despises that Anakin doesn't even try.

They heard the recommendations of different shows which is why they're reacting to this but that doesn't mean they've changed their mind about how they're going to react to other shows like rebels. You may as well get on board with it

These short animated series makes me wish that we got more backstory or side-arcs related to some of the more villainous characters in Star Wars. For example, I wish they had animated Stars Wars: Darth Maul (about him being a young Sith apprentice - fun fact: Maul was 21-22 years old in Phantom Menace), Age of Republic, and Son of Dathomir (how Darth Maul escaped Sidious' clutches during the Clone Wars), although supposedly we're getting a series in 2026 about him - it's based more on him rebuilding his criminal empire after the Clone Wars than anything.

You should definitely watch Tales of the Empire before Bad Batch. Tales of the Underworls episodes 1-3 has bad batch spoilers, but the second 3 are safe to watch as well.
Tales of Underworld doesn't...if you are referring to a certain character that appears, it doesn't really need to matter because the episodes basically intro how they are around, TBB episode with said character wouldn't be spoiled either.

Visions is like a love letter to Star Wars from the artists all over the world. Pretty sure they are all stand-alone, self-contained stories and can be watched whenever.

In my opinion, I would watch "Tales of the Empire" absolutely last, after Rebels/Mandalorian/ Boba Fett especially.
I would not watch "Tales of the Underworld" until after Bad Batch/ Rebels.
But that's just me.

Hell yeah! So glad yall are keeping up with Star Wars content. Definitely check out tails of the underworld and tails of the empire, as both are also short series of 6 episodes. After that yall will be in great shape to keep up with Rebels or Bad Batch, whichever you start with.

Togruta were, at least in legends, carnivores. Not sure if this was ever confirmed or not in canon, but at no point did they ever say Ahsoka was vegetarian.

No, first episode of Rebels before Bad Batch. I just feel like it will be less comment explanations/ them with certain questions if they at least had 1 episode under their belts beforehand. Honestly, would like for them to have the first season under their belt before Bad Batch, but ultimately it's up to them. What can you do? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
"Tales of the Underworld" would make sense after Bad Batch, and the first three episodes of "Tales of the Empire" would make sense after Rebels but before Season 2 Episode 5 of the Mandalorian (they just give a lot of context for that episode without spoiling it), the last three episodes anytime after Rebels I guess.

There are 2 other short Tales series like this: Empire and Underworld. Underworld can be watched whenever you want.
Tales Of The Empire has a couple prominent characters that are introduced in Rebels, so it's up to you if you want to skip their intro and jump straight into Empire.
