I wonder if Gi-hun would have changed the opinion of players had he unveiled that they allow you to come back to the game before the vote after the first game. He could've tried it. It was literally 183/182  for the first vote. If he had explained that they would be able to come back since it did happen in season 1, I'm pretty sure that something as simple as that, not even shouted but just whispered to a few players, would have caused them to vote differently...

Oh, but maybe since everyone would collect only small cash at that point, then they probably wouldn't host the game until the following year and then somebody would've put a hit out for him and everyone that voted no long before a year rolls over. LOL idk

What Thanos said to the front man struck a nerve in him because the reason the front man even played the games in the first place was because he ended up in debt trying to save his sick wife and the baby who she was carrying, but it was too late and we know this because the cop aka his brother said this to their mom, so what he said to Gi hun (player 456) was the truth you just had to change it to past tense since they are already dead.

just so you know. we were shown already that frontman's wife INDEED died along with their kid. jun-ho – the police guy, his brother, – left the flowers on her grave in the episode 2. so frontman told gi-hun the truth, you just need to change it to the past tense.
