The technology boom is very easily tracked to earthly sources. No need for people from space.

Also IDK if you guys know with how far you are. But this was forshadowed all the way in the first few episodes. During the Alligator episode the electric sign for the hotel fritzed out and spelled "The Dog Dies" which frightened scooby.

I don't doubt that some planet out there has alien life on it.But I refuse to believe that any aliens would just show up to our planet and give us the ability to advance our technology. When someone figures something out, like how to make a touch screen there will be a dozen more who will figure out how to make it better.
Until I see actual proof of alien life being on earth, and not all those fake "real alien" distractions they've been trying to feed us for the past few years, I won't believe that aliens have the technology to travel hundreds of thousands of years just to visit us

Nova and Scooby’s relationship was weird to me too so I’ve created a head canon where this incarnation of Scooby is actually a normal dog who can’t talk but the copious amount of drugs the human characters do have caused them to hallucinate him talking. A scenario that also makes Mr Pericles’ being an evil mastermind hilarious because the same rules would apply to him. He’s just a bird! The scarf and eye scar aren’t even real!

I can’t BELIEVE that they forgot how important was when Daphne sneezed and Scoobys nose twitched three times in a row from last season, episode 4. They don’t remember anything!!

If Shaggy got a taser or gun he'd accidentally fire at the gang thinking their ghost far far to often, Fred is, Fred so he'd never pass certification, Daphne and Velma maybe could but Scooby is a dog so he can't get certified either, plus if they just used those they'd get arrested no ifs ands or buts.

After watching all the way through the alien episode, I only just now realized that the sheriff never once refers to anyone in Mystery Inc by their actual names. I always noticed him refer to Scooby exclusively as “Talking Dog” but he also called Velma “Girly”. He possibly does it out of spite, but it’s more likely he just never bothered to learn their names.
Fun fact: "The Dog Dies" and "heed the alligators warning" is a reference to episode 2,where a sign in gators burg says "the dog dies"

I think the pacing in these final episodes is really well done. They really naturally up the ante with the arc, especially with these episodes and "the dog dies".

I always liked how increasingly ominous the phrase “This has all happened before” became throughout the series. It really hits different from the first time Velma gets a note from Mr E that says it to a reanimated corpse saying it right before his last words hinting the death of Scooby

we got the hint of scooby's death back in s1 in the gatorsburg episode, the ghost only repeated things but added nothing
