I prefer Bakugo and his arc over Sasuke. I hated Sasuke throughout Naruto parts 1 and 2. I have no idea how he got so many defenders.

I have to disagree with aizawa about the bakugo and uraraka fight. He should know by now that bakugo is a sociopath who's internal monologue is literally him wanting to kill

The fun part about Bakugo is that, no matter how much he screams and seemingly thrashes about, he's still really smart and analytical. He's taking in at least as much information as Deku, processing and planning at least as much, and sometimes comes to conclusions even faster. He's absolutely brilliant in a lot of situations, he's just loud and uses harsh language. And is a bit of a bully to Deku.

I still love how after Uraraka and Bakugo's fight not only does he call her by her name, but you'll notice that he's allot more respectful to her and remembers her name in later episodes.

And while I do agree with Eric that Uraraka could absolutely get away with the anime trope of "tiny girl with a giant 2 ton weapon" she's already stated that she wants to use her powers for heavy lifting and/or rescue hero work. Still it would have been one of the few times that the trope would have "made sense"

And the next arc in this season is EVEN BETTER than this. Izuku is my favourite character not just in MHA but all of anime.

loving the super hero reactions Man y'all should watch THE BOYS!!!! It's a gritty dark superhero show with some good humor it would be perfect for y'all and the channel if you haven't watched it already it's a masterpiece in its class

    He has maybe a couple funny jokes that finally aren't perverted but honestly by the time it happens it's way too late. I would've preferred he be killed off or expelled.

My favorite of class A-1 is definitely Bakugo, but I also really like Todoroki and Kirishima. Many of the students are great, but Deku has always been my least favorite for primarily-plot reasons that don't fully matter until later, but these early episodes are a stepping stone as to why. But, I do find it ironic that a lot of Bakugo-haters REALLY love Deku to the point of bullying.

The thing I noticed when Bakugo called Uraraka by name was it was the first time he did that outside of his teachers. It shows that Bakugo ultimately had respect for her tenacity, even if her plan was dead on arrival.

Such a good climax for Deku, you see a lot of Shonen battle series feel obligated to force the MC through. I like they acknowledge Deku is just outclassed here but he took away something important for himself and Todoroki.

I've never taken complaints about Izuku being a crier seriously; he's 15 and cries when he gets excited or frustrated, so do a ton of people lmao

  It’s more a comparison thing. I think a lot of anime fans compare him to other MCS around his age and they’re less emotional in how they handle situations so it feels extra with Deku. But like you said they’re literally children.

For episode 9 when Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu says I should have eaten more iron this morning because of his metal fatigue That's a reference to that English voice actors other character named Gajeel Redfox in Fairy Tail because for him to gain power he needs to eat metal
