A My Hero - Persona game, what would that be exactly? Would you be a UA student with the quirk to summon Personas or a normal person in a world like ours but going to another reality with the ability to summon My Hero Academia, Heroes and Villians as your Persona?
I swear the unaccurate subs ruin it for me sometimes. They are so bog and completeley different from whatcthey say
The subs are for the Japanese dub. Since they're watching the English dub, they won't match. When translating anime from Jap to Eng, the writers are effectively rewriting the script to match the mouth movements while keeping the basic concept, not direct translations
all might and deku in the show have a whole cutscene where they literally say "oh hey theres a movie u gotta watch that and come back" and its right on the ep where u stop to watch the movie anyways
The first movie is after season 3 or at least at the end of season 3, not 2
Don't they need to at least watch until episode 12 of season 3 before watching the first movie???

Hey fun fact. That winged friend of Bakugo never shows up during the events of the story. Remember that winged Nomu that Stain killed because it targeted Deku? The mangaka implies there is a connection between that Nomu having wings and targeting Deku specifically.
I cannot wait for them to meet Mitsuki. Also so excited for Season 3, summer training is one of my fav arcs!

I always see people reference him as an angry pom, but I see Kacchan as more like a feral cat. Takes time to warm up to him and not everyone's cup of tea. And will scream and bite and has danger mittens lol

I will say this. There's layers to Bakugo, and we figure out more about him. This was like the kernel of his character, where we learn that he and deku have the same origin of their driving motivator, but where deku uses Allmight as a foil for how he inspires people, bakugo uses allmight as a foil for his fearlessness, and we start to learn that both bakugo and deku kinda have to take down the barriers that are holding each other back

Well, that IS Bakugo's origin. The characters of MHA are a great example of how circumstance doesn't necessarily correlate to who people grow to be. You can throw five people into a well and they can all come out as different people; everyone experiences things differently and draw different conclusions from those experiences. While Deku saw All Might and interpreted goodness and selflessness as the mark of a hero, Bakugo concluded that a hero is someone who is strong and always wins. They're two sides of the same coin—the foil to each other.
the 2nd movie has the greatest superhero fight sequence in animated history.

I have a Timeline Order I made that im pretty sure is accurate that u guys can follow if u want! Order is- season 1, season 2, season 3 episode 20 (prequel episode to first movie that aired out of order), MHA The Movie: Two Heroes, Season 3, Season 4, Season 5 episodes 1-12, season 5 episodes 20-24, season 5 episode 13 until timeskip halfway through episode, MHA The movie: Heroes Rising, finish previous episode, season 5 episodes 14-19, season 5 episode 25, MHA: The Movie: World Heroes Mission, s5 ep 25 post credit scene, Season 6
Recently rewatched the show this way with a friend and although it was weird to watch a season out of order like that it actually worked pretty well and the timeline works if u wanna watch everything in chronological order! I would recommend not following the weird season order on ur first watch trough tho unless you really care about timeline/chronological order stuff tho. The movie placements are all 100% accurate as well!
Pretty sure MHA: your next (4th movie) takes place a couple episodes into season 7 as well!
I wonder if you guys will watch the filler episodes of each season. Yes movie 1 in Canon order takes place between season 2 and 3, it also released during season 3 after the 20th episode in season 3 which is a filler episode in the middle of an arc so you can skip that episode if needed or wanted. Movie 2 takes place in the halfway point of season 5 but released after season 4. You can watch it after episode 13 of season 5. Movie 3 takes place in between season 5 and 6. Movie 4 takes place after episode 3 of season 7. It's complicated but that's how I remember. I don't know the exact episode count since MHA has a series count, not a seasonal count but yeah that's where all the movies take place

Despite the Bakugo hate going on in the comments, there is a reason for why he is the way he is. XD He's got too much pride, and a perfectionist personality. That's a lot of weight to put on a kid so young, but he kept pushing himself to achieve perfection in anything he does, and if he doesn't do it well, he just tries even harder and gets mad until he succeeds. Didn't help that others also put a lot of expectation on him since his quirk came about, buuuuuut... Yeah. XD I still like him a lot.

Bakugo's warped view of stuff and being a perfectionist, came from within, he wasnt abused or beat up like Todoroki for example.
Bakugo came to these views on his own growing up - there wasnt a singular person who was forcing him to become this way, so there is no other person to "blame" - this is on Bakugo
I’d say it’s deserved hate, being a perfectionist and prideful doesn’t mean you bully others and straight up injure them. Think about it he’s been bullying deku for years because he’s quirkless and tried to be an equal to him, then when deku gets a power he makes it all about him saying he lied so he could laugh at me. That doesn’t make sense.

Character growth, is not doing a few actions because the situation requires it of a person - and them immediately going back to his old ways.

I don't get why people say he has zero redemption when 7-8 seasons have shown us otherwise. I understand not liking him as a character, but to say he has zero redemption is just inane. He is easily one of the most complex characters in the show, and I think that's why people like him. Flawed characters are more relatable imo

No I have he’s still not a good character, him crying about how he wants to be the best hero isn’t redemption. I’ve only watched to like half of season 5 and there was almost zero growth he has no reason to be a ass.

The placement of Movies 2 & 3 is really awkward. Canonically both movies take place at the same time as episodes 24 & 25 of Season 5 from what I understand. Movie 3 definitely has to be watched AFTER Season 5, Movie 2 is technically fine to watch about halfway through Season 5 if you really wanted to. They're not directly connected to the main story, but can contain spoilers that may or may not fly over your heads. A lot of people were able to watch Movie 2 way before Season 5 and not notice. But recommendation is that Movie 2 should not be watched prior to the halfway point of Season 5 at the earliest, end of Season 5 at the latest which would put it back to back with Movie 3 before moving into Season 6. There is an OVA earlier in Season 5 that teases Movie 3, do not let it fool you the movie does not go immediately after it. Movie 4 is between Seasons 6 and 7.

so GENUINELY pumped for s3. it honestly shows a lot of great development and is such a good season for what they've built up!
Honestly Bakugo's whole complex is not really because of "abuse" or anything like that. It's the hero society around him that has made him the way he is. Growing up he heard so many people calling him amazing and perfect because of his quirk. He didn't start hating Izuku until AFTER Izuku's quirkless diagnosis. The world saw Izuku as "worthless", so Bakugo also picked up that mindset. That, of course, does not excuse Bakugo. He has loving parents and he has teachers now telling him he's wrong, it's now his pride and stubborn nature making him refuse to change. He's such a complex character and I enjoy watching his progression.
