Not a spoiler because it was literally said in the episode seconds before the comment, but All Might’s master, that gave him One For All, had a Quirk. All Might, as far as we know as of now, was the only Quirkless owner of the Quirk before Deku.
I recommend watching the first movie Two Heroes. Timeline wise it is after Season 2 and before Season 3

Yeah from season 2 on MHA is split into two main arcs for the most part with the OP change marking the arc change.
“Meddling when you don’t need to, is the essence of being a hero.” Is one of the best lines in the entire series.
it was fun rewatching this with y'all! I personally love how Bakugo's character develop over the seasons. Hopefully in the next one the english subtitles will match the dub cause the direct translations is wayyy different sometimes and it's a bit jarring ngl

so just wanna add that the supplemental material and stuff explain why ochako lives by herself. the cost of traveling every day was too much for her family to handle. so she has a cheap apartment closer to school. the reason why she was so shocked her parents were there was because they had to put off work and spend the money to even visit
the reason why she was talking about eating cheap too is cuz she tries not to spend any money. even starving herself and keeping her electricity off. so basically tortures herself to not be what she thinks is a burden on her parents
none of this is spoilers as its things manga readers would know at this point and its not addressed in the anime apart from what you just saw really. its a shame tho cuz knowing this about ochako reveals a LOT about why she does what she does during the main story
I think out of everything you guys are reacting to rn I'm loving my hero the most. I got to season 5 or 6 before I dropped it but man your reactions are making me want to watch the show again. Can't wait for you guys to see what's coming next
If you dropped it in the first half of season 5 that’s fair enough but the second half and season 6 are fantastic.
I'm really curious how y'all (either sorta stupid crew themselves or the other commenters xD) feel about Recovery Girl refusing to treat Midoriya's injuries if they come from his own quirk? Do you think she's in the right/wrong, do you agree with her?
I can see both sides, but an analogy for what she's doing is this: a school nurse refuses to treat a student athlete's injured ankles from running too hard / training too much.
I feel like the appropriate response in that situation would be trying to talk to the student to figure out their mindset and what could be causing the extreme level of self-endangerment, getting in contact with the parents or maybe even arranging some kind of therapy depending on how the student reacts.
That said, I'm really unsure how I feel about it - so, thoughts y'all?
That's what she's doing though. His injuries here, the scars and crooked hand aren't because she's refusing to heal them its because she can't. His other injuries she left to heal naturally but that, that is permanently injured and less than it could be because he shattered it so badly. If she keeps healing him he'll keep doing this so she's told him no more, I will heal you this time and injuries that aren't self inflicted but breaking your fingers to attack will not be healed by me. She also told all might to as you said speak with him and figure out another way since All Might is the one responsible for him.
I think I agree with her, because 1) it seems to be a way to force Midoriya to start learning how to control/use his power in other ways, and 2) she did say that his arm was so shattered, that there isnt really much she can do if he injures it again
Anyone who denies that bakugo goes through his own character arc is just lying to themselves. I really like where they take his character throughout the rest of the story.

Agreed! There's so many people that refuse to look beyond their first impression of characters, and I was so relieved when ruff said "he's an asshole but I kinda like him" xD
Bakugo isn't my favorite character in the show, but he is definitely a complex and well done character, that's the thing I like about this show is a lot of the character are very flushed out
Agree. He’s not my favourite either but I appreciate the growth he has and that even though he’s a prick, it’s pretty funny sometimes.
Fun fact about the show, they used to run a poll for them most popular character's in mha and they release a list, BAKUGO HAS BEEN ON A 9 YEAR WINNING STREAK

loving the super hero reactions Man y'all should watch THE BOYS!!!! It's a gritty dark superhero show with some good humor it would be perfect for y'all and the channel if you haven't watched it already it's a masterpiece in its class
Bakugo is 100% my favorite character. He goes through a huge arc, especially after season 5. Surprisingly, so does Endeavor. He arcs as well.
Also, if you guys are looking for something new to watch or react to, take a look at Epic the Musical with the animatics. Trust me, its 1000% worth it
We saw Todaroki's siblings in the episode where he fought Deku. They were playing and his dad was like "nah you can't play with them. Imma beat you now and call it training."
