Lovin' these movie reactions. Worth the diamond on their own. You guys seem to vibe with dark yet heartwarming stuff, so you should consider checking out the movie "9." I think you guys would love it.

I never realized how much of an actual asshole Jack is in this movie. He does so many bad things selfishly wanting Christmas to himself, and then his only regret is that they shot him down. He felt no remorse for terrorizing people on a day that wasn't halloween

I also wanted to know how they did Zero, and it turns out they used a beam splitter. Which basically means they put two glass prisms infront of the camera, and filmed Zero several feet away from where he would appear on camera.

I’m not gonna lie I was always confused about one thing in this movie as much as I love it I was always confused about why they didn’t let oogie boogie participate in the town activities I get it now being a little bit older I think I remember someone saying that Jack and Oogie represented different parts of Halloween, Jack representing the fear and fun of Halloween and Oogie boogie representing the darkness and danger of it

I definitely loved The Nightmare Before Christmas worlds in the Kingdom Hearts games. The KH Chain of Memories version was pretty average in comparison but it was still good for that game

ParaNorman, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hocus Pocus, and The Thing (1982) are probably my favorite Halloween movies, though I do recall really enjoying Halloween Town, Casper (1995 + meets Wendy), the Witches (1990), and Under Wraps back in the day. Haven't seen the last ones in years, though, so I dunno how well they hold up now.
Still, of Nightmare Before Christmas... my favorite songs were "Jack's Lament" and "Poor Jack", even as a tot. XD I dunno why the more melancholy songs were my favorite, when most of my friend group preferred "This is Halloween" and "What's This?"

Two movies I would love for you guys to react to are The Road to El Dorado and The Prince of Egypt. I know these aren't spooky movies for the spooky season but they are some of my favorite Dreamworks animated films. It would be a real treat to see you guys react to these movies.

I've loved this movie ever since I was a kid and I've made it a tradition for myself to watch it at least once a year because I love it so much.

“That was a little unfair because it wasn’t called ‘Tim Burton’s Nightmare’ until three weeks before the film came out. And I would have been fine with that, if that’s what I signed up for,” Selick recently told AV Club. “But Tim was in L.A. making two features while I directed that film, and I mean, Tim is a genius — or he certainly was in his most creative years. I always thought his story was perfect, and he designed the main characters. But it was really me and my team of people who brought that to life.”
I feel bad now the interview was from Variety’s by Zack Sharf
