i love you guys, but you really need to listen sometimes. at the beginning you missed when the movie said it was Isla Sorna and not Isla Nublar. and when Ian's daughter Kelly showed up you missed when they were talking about her staying with Karen and how she doesn't like Karen. You guys were also way too hard on Eddie. Dude's just trying to save his friends. rip Eddie.
i really liked this movie. i've seen the original multiple times, but never the sequels. so, this was a nice first watch of this movie.
T-rex: Hey look, its fast food
jeff goldblum is 6 foot 4 and 1/4
please watch the rest of the movie series :)
This movie is fine, the San Diego part is the best bit
Bro those gas prices in San Diego tho...
Lmao Ruff, "This movie was fckn awesome!" Sean, "This sucked" Ruff, "totally agree"
Just so you guys know, those were not baby dinos at the start, they're adults (Compsognathus)
This and Narnia: Prince Caspian are two sequels that were just insanely even better than the first film
Fun Fact: I looked up the snake since according to the Rhyne (Red next to black in a friend to Jack, Red next to yellow will kill a fellow), he should have been safe. But when I looked up the snakes, it didn't look close enough to either of them. But it did look like the micrurus nigrocinctus babaspul, which is not only venomous, but it apparently extinct. So, it was most likely also made by Ingen. So, he was mot likely dead either way.
Seeing you get hyped about the scene with them driving vehicles next to a bunch of dinosaurs has me desperate to see you react to the Jurassic World movies
Another fun Julianne Moore movie from the early 2000's is "Evolution."
Why do the mics echo so bad when Sean and Eric talk
"Where's the kid gonna stay? The mom left them"Reading subtitles while talking over movies is fun. Or yknow, pausing.
You guys talked over half of the conversation with the daughter explaining that she didn't want to stay with the woman Malcolm had to watch her. "She's such a troglodyte, she doesn't even have SEGA? Why can't I stay with Sarah?"
I remember loving this movie, even if it got hated on by the critics. XD I still think the first movie is better, but I still found the 2nd one enjoyable in its own way. I don't remember liking the 3rd movie, though...
See, and this is why you got to pause; otherwise you would have gotten the whole long conversation about how she doesn't want to go stay with Karen she doesn't like Karen etc etc. 😂
People have been trying to make sense of the boat scene since the movie came out. The real explanation is that they changed part of the script which had raptors on the ship and they killed the crew. That part got cut but they left in the crew getting ripped apart. In universe the best explanation is somehow the rex got out, killed most of them, then got lured/went back to the cargo hold before the last crewmate attempted to close the door while bleeding out.
Actually, during filming it was already part of the script that the adult T-Rex killed the crew. Some time back a bts image was found which showed the part of the cabin with the hand that was behind the camera and it had a giant hole with the T-Rex head animatronic in it.When they woke up the T-Rex, he went on a rampage, killing most of the crew. What remained probably led the adult back down into the cargo bay where they were killed and the guy, who held the remote for the doors, closed them before succumbing to whatever injuries he sustained.
Plus I'm pretty sure there also exists concept art showing a giant hole in the cabin of the SS Venture.
I like to imagine the baby rex ate them lmao
Watching you guys watching Jurassic Park makes me want to see you guys watch the movie Dinosaur (came out in 2000)
Aladar? O hell yeah!
Damn Eric you're being a bit harsh to Eddie who's trying to save his friends from falling and dying 🤣
Yeah i think im as mad at him watching as he is at Eddie. WTF ELSE IS HE SUPPOSED TO DO?! LET THEM FALL?
I don't even get what he means by "that's not how it works" Eddie has exactly two resources to keep them from going off the cliff, a car with a winch and a rope. he threw them the rope and connected the winch to the trailer. There is literally nothing else he can do in this situation. Eddie's not an earthbender or fucking Terra from Teen Titans, he can't just summon dry land in the middle of this rainstorm to park his jeep on in the middle of this fucking crisis.
Honestly a bit annoyed at Ruff dismissing how inhibiting that mud would be too, these guys are usually pretty good on not doing the whole "well if I was there..." thing, but this was just idiotic.
You guys clapping after the gymnastics scene is amazing EVERY CRITIC HATES THAT MOMENT
The guy that got eaten at the gas station by the trex was listed in the credits as unlucky bastard
