Spirited is actually fire. One of Will Ferrell's better roles, where he's not being a loud goof the whole movie. They did a great job with that whole film tbh
I would love for them to react to that one! It's such a fun and new way to tell A Christmas Carol story, which has been done to death by this point, so it was nice to see something different with it.
Noel is an amazing movie, can highly recommend it. For general Christmas movies, Arthur Christmas, Klaus (you have seen it, still good though) and I personally really like Rise of the Guardians by Dreamworks too. That last one is a bit more than a Christmas movie but it is still great in my opinion.
Arthur Christmas is so good and sadly doesn't get enough attention that it deserves.

Apparently getting Jim Carrey in the makeup for this film required a person to come in and give him torture resistance training. He described the makeup process as like being buried alive.

Jesus guys I know you can pause but it was really really excessive on here like every 2 minutes you needed to stop it to talk about something or look something up.
Part of their charm imo. I prefer the pausing to other creators who just talk over the thing they're watching and then miss important scenes.

Violent Night is a great Christmas movie to watch. You guys would probably love it.
I too hate this movie, like bree. But it is amusing enough to sit through with others. I grew up on the OLD old cartoon version, and when this came out, felt like a slap in the face of the old one. I can now see how folks may enjoy it, but the first version will always be best for me personally.
I grew up with both this movie and the Chuck Jones Cartoon and while I do think this film is a lot of fun. I 100 percent get the criticism towards it especially when compared to the the cartoon which is just simple and perfect in it's own way 🤔.
I completely agree. As a kid I loved it but as I've gotten older I like it less and less. There are moments I do like and find myself laughing quite a bit but yeah, there are other moments that I highly doubt Dr. Suess intended his story be and is quite insulting. The cinematographer doesn't even look very good in my opinion, it looks like someone put vaseline on the lens. And that's tough for me to say because I love Ron Howard, I think he's a very talented director. For me peak Ron Howard is Willow and Parenthood. I would love for them to check out Parenthood.

Yeah Dr. Seuss's widow was the one who pushed against live action adaptations of her husbands work, after tolerating this film and being repulsed by cat in the hat 🤔.
They're all so bad! The only one I didn't mind as much was Horton Hears A Who, but other then that they are all insults to the original source material and clearly doesn't get what made these books classics. Cat In The Hat is the worst for me, it was torture to get through.

Oh, I just found out there's going to be a Violent Night 2 next year. I'm impressed that the budget of the first film is so low. They did a lot with what they had.
I don't know what you heard about Violent Night. But that movie is a blast. I watched it in theaters. It was gas. I recommend it.
I discovered it last year (not sure when it came out, but I at least didn't watch it in theaters), and got together with my parents and sister for the holidays to all watch it together. There is a horror like movie based off The Grinch, it's called The Mean One. You would probably enjoy it.
