boah its so sad to hear that schools in america have security xD

in literally all schools in germany you can just walk in they have HUGE open doors directly to the street ... the most thing coming close to a security guy might be the old cat of the janitor xD

i could not imagine living in a country where a school needs security

If he was going to send the FBI he should have told Peter. Peter only pursued the bad guys because he thought nobody else was going to and people were going to get hurt if he didn't do anything. That's why when you tell someone not to do something they're more likely to listen to you if you tell them why instead of saying "because I said so"

Also if it was just the FBI I think they would have gotten owned by the bad guys. (I assume Tony only showed up because things went south/Peter was there)

the mcu has also been weird about spiderman in general by basically not acknowledging his spidersense at all till later despite it being something peter innately gains as soon as his powers manifest. It not being here is pretty much the only reason anyone can even touch him in civil war or this movie, dude wouldve layed cap and vulture out

Its not a bad movie but it sets a really bad precedent that mcu peter is defined largely by ironman shadow, which is just really unfortunate as a spiderman fan. Spiderman has for awhile continually been portrayed mainly as a quiet or reserved highschooler rather then the loveable self deprecating hothead adult hes been since the early 60s in comics

what are you talking about, the first spiderman was a 17 year old highschooler in 1962 and since they keept the tradition.

every comic showing him as an adult are not true to his original. and in no way is he "defined" by ironmans shadow hes a teenager without parents looking up to a father figure ... its called "relateable"

It's not that I dislike this movie, it's just that I hate what they did to our boy Spider-man. He should be awesome on his own, but here and the other movies they just let him be an underling and it sucks. Spider-man is awesome because he is Peter Parker, not because Tony Stark helps him. It's like he joins in on World of Warcraft after his friends are already level 50 and they help him gear up.

hard agree, spiderman as a character is much better and more popular then iron man, hell its not even close. Not to mention spiderman was a candidate for the avengers long before people like hawkeye or black widow became members, hell the man single handedly fought the entire fantastic 4 as a teen in his first year in the comics.

If ever they are talking over a scene with important dialogue and they notice they will pause, or if they realize they missed something important because they were talking they will skip back and rewatch it.

I feel they generally talk when not pausing.  I think sometimes if they think theyll get too distracted with conversations, they pause, or maybe in response to a number of people complaining about them talking through scenes.  But I wouldn't consider pausing to talk part of their norm currently, nor would I necesarily assume that's what they want.

It's amusing to us but it is understandable to make that mistake.  They see how strong Peter is and compare what they see to Steve's strength and it appears to them that Steve is stronger.  They don't realize Peter is holding back to such an extreme amount because he would kill anybody he fought otherwise.

This Vulture wasn't really a villain, he was more of a anti-villain where he become a villain out of necessity. And that end credit scene was hinting at he ain't a snitch and took the defeat on that one.

For sure check out the older Spider-Man movies & Venom after finishing phase 3. Venom is a Spider-Man villain turned anti-hero but his movies aren’t in the MCU because Sony made them while the MCU is Disney/Marvel Studios. However, I would still recommend them as they’re fun popcorn flicks. Just ignore Morbius, Madame Web, and Kraven. We don’t talk about them. Lol
