   It’s not necessary for the next MCU Spider - Man movie, but you guys should watch the 2003 CGI Spider - Man series by MTV. It takes place in between movies 1 and 2 and it’s really good. I believe it’s also on Disney+.

      It's not on Disney+, but they have it on DVD now. That same series was retconned due to the 2nd and 3rd movies being made. The show is non-canon to Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3.

    “He’s just a kid” is still one of the wildest lines that evokes laughter and shatters any suspension of disbelief. I’ll buy a bank vault filled with 💰 like a cartoon. I’ll buy a man with metal octopus arms and a guy that shoots webs. No one is going to convince me that Tobey Maguire looks like “a kid” here.

    this version of ock is kinda wild when you think about it, plenty of the time ock is in some way empowered by the experiment that fused his tentacles to him and drove him insane but this ones just a dude rolling with the spiderman punches

    for the discussion 9 minutes in; I make pizzas for a living, the ovens are 400-500 degrees being heated from all sides. can cook a 16" pizza in <15 minutes. Cook times increase with the more pizzas you cook at once, but the cooktime itself will never be more than 20 minutes. The place I work at cooks the pizzas on metal screens to let the top bake because it needs more time, then we take them off the screen to let the dough cook directly on the brick.

    The funny part about the diner scene is Ock threw a car into the face of that diner that would have killed Peter and Mary Jane if his Peter Tingle didn't get triggered. And then he threw him into a brick wall after that. Like wtf. How are you gonna question him if he's dead? Lol

       I’d say every aspect of the “romance” in this trilogy is horribly written. They had the MTV Movie Award Best Kiss and coasted on that. Just awful writing for MJ and Peter together and apart.

       It’s one of the things that I think both other film versions do a lot better.

    What I truly enjoy about this movie is the fight Peter has as not just spiderman but Peter Parker. Enduring so much and being hated by the city as Spider-Man while seeming like a disappointment as Peter Parker to those close to him but he still keeps going. Also the action in this movie was sick.

    Sad it's not the extended edition but ah well. Still freaking excited for this!

    Trying again though, don't need to re react to it, but definitely check out the stuff they added for the extended edition, they're so freaking fun. Including an ICONIC scene with Jameson after he was given the Spidey suit.

    One other note, don't need to react to it first but for Spider-Man 3 I highly suggest checking out the Editors Cut for that movie too, there's a very dumb scene that that cut thankfully cuts out.
