Havent seen this movie since maybe 03....it just made me look up what's essentially having your colon cleaned with water...understandable why they'd avoid

But side note this has probably already been mentioned on the older movies but, the scooby doo crossover movies are absolute gold. Batman, ninja turtles, KISS, supernatural...theyre amazing. Even the WWE crossover is great

This movie has my favorite cast commentary that I can think for the same reason that I love reactions. They are actually watching the movie as it plays and talking about the scenes as they come. I haven't watched it in a probably a decade or more but I remember Matthew Lillard having gotten advice from the guy in scene 01:05:00 - 01:05:06 about how many times he should hit him with his elbow in the scene; Matthew thought that 3 was funniest but the guy was adamant that more than three was funnier which Matthew agreed with in the commentary.

Hi, the song is "Thinkin' About You" by Solange Knowles (ft. Murphy Lees). It's the chorus and plays about 4 times in the song. It's song Number 4 on the official soundtrack CD, and can be found on YouTube. Hope this helps!

Scrappy is canonically known for his quite literally larger than himself ego so it makes sense he’d invite the entire gang. Especially after they kicked him out.

So the actor for Velma was the voice actor for Hot Dog Water, and I’m pretty sure she used that balloon suit idea for both of her monsters

This is the reason they showed Scrappy Doo in Mystery Incorporated in their villain section of the museum. Remember they said "come on Daphne, you know we don't talk about him", lol.

So which one is Shaggy and which one is Scooby? I keep going back and forth. Ultimately, no wrong answers on whose who, just fun to talk about.

Erik has Lab dog feels so it's easy to say Great Dane Scooby Doo, but he also has GIGANTIC Shaggy vibes, all about them Scooby Snacks and wild, hare-brained schemes! Sean has lovable dog-like attributes easily, but also tends to be the more vocal of the pair towards the group, which Shaggy tended to be (on Scoobs behalf) more often than not in the cartoon series.

yes, I know Sean does the Scooby Snacks, too

yes, I know Erik does voice himself a lot with the group when needed by himself; comedically it seems like Sean does the talking for the "relationship" lolI meant to say Golden Retriever energy, but Labrador works just as well

Sean is a St. Bernard; Rugged yet floofy!

I'm so glad you guys watched this, can't wait for the second. These movies are GOLD. The perfect live-action adaptations. The cast is peak, the cgi is amazing for its time, and they just genuinely capture the feeling of the og cartoons.

Fun fact: Mathew Lilliard, the actor who played Shaggy in these Movies, would go on to voice the character in most animations since then.

You know this brings back to an episode in the mystery inc show you guys reacted. So in the first episode where Velma shows off the spooky museum and that ghost from the beginning is shown in the background. And also in an episode(don’t know which one) where Fred and Velma where hanging out in the museum, the statue of scrappy is shown and they say they’ll never talk about it again.

this was originally written to be PG-13 so unfortunately, a lot of things got cut out like Velma and Daphne being romantically interested in each other or Shaggy being a more obvious stoner. there's even deleted scenes of what Velma, Fred and Daphne were doing during the two year time skip.

The film hasn't really aged well in all honesty. The only good part of this film is the casting.

Nah I think it’s aged fairly well. Fred checking Daphne’s body out could be considered cringey or gross to some people but it’s just supposed to be a funny scene and I think it’s fine.

The movies who's memes birthed the ultra instinct shaggy into existence and then eventually canon. Also they're super fun and silly to remember that these were originally supposed to be way more adult and parody
