Is it because you too can speak with bugs from a magical forest in a post apocalyptic wasteland?

This isn't my favorite Miyazaki film, but I liked the performances, especially David Ogden Stiers (Piccolo), Cary Elwes (Curtis), and Kimberly Williams-Paisley (Fio). I haven't seen a lot of her, but she did a really good job.

I never saw this movie before, but I knew about the memes. So happy to finally get to sit through it and understand why it's so beloved. I've always loved Castle in the Sky and Princess Mononoke, and Castle in the Sky doesn't get talked about as much, either, but I had a harder time finding a copy of Porco Rosso.

Whisper of the heart is drastically underrated. Both movies are in my top movies of all time, with whisper of the heart just slightly higher than this one.

I also really like Studio Ghibli’s Arrietty but it’s an interesting one because they released 2 different English dubs at the same time when it came out… there’s a UK version starring Saoirse Ronan and the American version starring Bridget Mendler, I think I prefer the UK one more but they’re both good.

Kiki’s Delivery Service is a beautiful movie which I hope they watch someday…. Also I think Boom would like The Wind Rises, it’s another movie by Miyazaki set in the same era as Porco Rosso about an aircraft engineer.

Reminder that both Spongebob and Patrick's actors are in this movie.

Piccolo S.P.A. means Società per azioni and is a form of corporation in Italy, meaning 'company with shares'

I strongly disagree but I guess it all comes down to personal preference (I prefer the original one).
