JV Team – Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones Reaction
This is without a doubt amongst the better ones. It's around my favorite post-OG trilogy films, but to say my favorite, it's this alongside the next two since they're that, ANOTHER trilogy of films. That said, if you don't like this one, i can't say the other two will change your mind because of that same logic.
Gosh, still love this film years later. Absolutely made me love Darkrai as a Pokemon and I really loved the opening music and the end credits music too! Can't for you guys to see the next ones too - the story kind of links together!
Dudes, the voice actor for Pikachu also does the voice for Chopper in One Piece (sub). I’m surprised you didn’t see that when Ruff looked it up.
Male Kirlia can still evolve into Gardevoir, male Kirlia only evolve into Gallade if you use a dawn stone on them.

Idk if you guys forgot but Defog actually does clear the fog in the Pokemon games. At least in Gen 4
Erik is right that the disks should be near the sound system but boy would it have been bad if just Ash and Dawn got up there without knowing what song was the right one.
I think this movie was the first time I realized that games and movies share audio files for many of their sound effects and monsters. The Palkia cry is the same noise that the giant lizard that Obi Wan rides in Revenge of the Sith and the Palkia cry is the Hydra from Warcraft 3.
My favorite gen would probably be gen 3 tbh, gen 4 is close behind though. I still have Cynthia PTSD
Gen 3 is my favorite as well but if Gen 4 didn't run at feel like it was set to 80% speed the entire time across both the gen 4 and gen 2 remakes. My child ADHD was always slightly annoyed
I don't think you'll read this but to answer Eric's question hot air balloon's just ride the wind currents wherever they're going. However the wind currents at different heights or layers blow in different directions so they "steer" by going higher or lower to find a wind current blowing a different direction. Its referenced here at the start of the movie where Alice say the pokemon show her which way the winds blowing so she know's which current to catch.
There is also one game (can't remember which gen) where defog removed fog in a region.

In the gen 4 games Defog if used outside of battle allows you to get rid of fog in the area, so her using that to try and get rid of the fog was smart but it didn’t work.

Like zero reason to mention it, but the opening with all the 'legendaries' was just showing off the icon Pokemon of the previous movies, which is why Lucario was there, they were just going in showcase order.
As for the move defog, reminder it was an HM in DPP, and it did exactly what the movie was attempting to do, clear up fog that as a battle weather lowered accuracy.
What made this version of Darkrai so interesting is that he was the first Dark type legendary Pokémon, and Dark type is called “evil” type in Japanese. But he’s actually the good guy in this story.
I say “this” version of Darkrai because he’s the antagonist on some level in every other appearance I can think of after this, which kinda makes me sad. It was an actual subversion of expectation but the Darkrai in Myster Dungeon Explorers, Pokémon Ranger, Poképark 2 and the normal series all were either the villain or fights the main character.

Small correction on Gardevoir. Male AND Female Kirlia can become a Gardevoir. Male Kirlia can become a Gallade through a stone evolution.

Such a great pokemon movie. Hands down my favorite one, and personally the best one. The gen 4 movies are my favorite. The later Gen movies are still fire though, especially Hoopa, that movie is just insane. Can't wait what y'all think of the next movies.

This is post charizard. Ash gather’s a new team (except pikachu) whenever he goes to a new region. His method is to train up to a high level in each new region so he always get beginner level Pokemon.

this movie is why i find it weird as fuck how normalized darkrai is in games, dude literally stepped on the scene and was as unique feeling as pokemon came especially talking. pretty sure just a regular trainer in the anime has one and they dont even address how weird that is
Dude Tobias isn’t a real character he was just there to stop Ash from winning the league because Ash was doing excellent in this gen he already beat his rival Paul, so there was no one left to stop him so the writers had to make up a character who we’ve never seen before to stop Ash since the writers couldn’t figure out how to have Ash lose.
Tobias is not even real. Writers gave up on how to defeat ash since this gen he was just smarter and more competent that they had to write a character that has never lost 1 Pokémon in a entire tournament full of legendry's

CROGUNK the little Pokemon who know is out Brock is legit the best. I still like Max being able to pull his ear and hold with such force lol but this guy uses POISON JAB to knock him out when he gets all horny. And like Wabafett with Team Rocket he can pop out of his poke ball anytime to do it.
that Croagunk being able to do that with poison jab makes more sense when you realize hes practiced that move on brock hundreds of times and battled using it. its like pikachus thunderbolt dudes maximized the skill
