   I know its a lot to ask but please please please do the whole Nightmare series and end on New Nightmare. After this one they get a bit more funny. Dream Warrior is good. I would love to see you guys react to all of Robert England's Freddy. You guys are great, keep up the excellent work!

   IMO when it comes to Nightmare on Elm Street the only ones worth watching is Nightmare on Elm Street/ Nightmare on Elm Street 3 Dream Warriors and New Nightmare I consider it a trilogy with both Heather a Robert England

    So regarding your whole cross discussion I remember one novel I read where it was pointed out the difference between a sword and a cross is just how you hold it. Nazi soldiers occupied a castle where a vampire had been sealed away and all the "crosses" on the walls were a representation of the magical sword used to defeat him. Then one of the soldiers took the silver crosses off the walls and let him out.

    You guys should watch werewolf by night. It's on Disney plus and it's in all black and white retro throwback werewolf story that Marvel did a few Halloween ago. It's not connected to anything else so you don't have to worry about being confused

    In the 1980's groups of south east Asian refugees were coming to the US to flee the Vietnam conflict. Mostly from Laos and Vietnam. Most of these cultures share somewhat similar superstitions about sleep paralysis and succubus that attack men in their sleep killing them in the process. This particular superstitious belief is from my partner's culture where he explained during the Vietnam conflict with the US, the CIA had operated a clandestine mission in neutral Laos recruiting both indigenous and local people to fight the communist. His group were the Hmong(pronounced Mong). After the war ended the US and France relocated most of those who sided with the Western forces, those who served the US came to America if they could escape Lao's and had evidence they provided support to the US. Unfortunately the US forgot that you can't put tribal village farmers suffering from war PTSD in the middle of major US cities and expect them to assimilate quickly without repercussion. A lot of his older male relatives grappled to change lives from mountain farmers to US city workers and became exhausted, overworked, lacked basic understanding of US social and cultural norms. Basically a lot of them died from a combination overstress, anxiety, trauma, lack of sleep, poor health, and so forth. But because of superstitions a lot of their relatives saw this as punishment from deities or spirits for leaving fallen relatives behind or from failing to protect their people.

          Really? To me he is very noticeably Johnny Depp but younger. I guess can recognize faces differently in different situations.

    So funny thing, Heather Langenkamp(Nancy) was 20 when this came out. That line of dialogue about looking 20 when the character is supposed to be 15 may have been something tongue-in cheek knocking at the fact that an adult is playing a teenager.

    As well as being a fantastic movie, Nightmare On Elm Street also gave us "Are You Ready For Freddy" by Fat Boys, featuring Robert Englund rapping in character as Freddy. And that's just fantastic.
