   It the books it tells you that when there are vampires it not only makes them turn into werewolves but it also forces them to physically mature faster. They go from looking like the teenagers they are to looking like they are in their early twenties in a very short time.

   So Jake gaining muscle mass between movies and looking older than 16 actually makes sense.

   Also, once they are full grown their aging slows down. If they keep shifting they will have an abnormally long life span.

   Funny thing, the actual reason the guy saw nothing when holding Bella's hand was because she simply doesn't think. No thoughts, not ever. Her head is just that empty.

   I hate so much how no one can ever empathize with Bella. I relate so hard to her, and while no, I've never woken up screaming, I can easily put myself in her shoes and understand why she is. And it boils my blood when people always call her selfish and a bad person. Because they're failing to empathize with or understand Bella, and then placing judgements on her actions without that context. It also shows a general lack of understanding or compassion for mental health struggles. To call her a bad friend for not listening to her friend, even though she's severely depressed, and trying to actually engage with life is incredibly difficult for her. And yet, when her friend has zero consideration for Bella and her mental health, that doesn't make her a bad friend?

      You are presenting such an  immature thinking. You can struggke with stuff and still be a Bad person. Obviously your struggkes can explain your sctions but it doesn't make your sctions less Bad. Such a shitty thinking.

    Work sucked so bad today, glad I could watch y'all's New Moon roast.

    I really like all the characters outside of Bella and Edward, more so watching this with my fully formed adult brain. I feel like in the books their train of thought makes more sense but it didn't translate well.

    Each of the characters have such solid backstories. Rosalie, despite being standoffish and mean is one of my favorite characters. I used to adore these movies so much I don't remember how many times I rewatched them in high school.
