   yall should definitely check out jiang ziya! its also an amazing movie and in the same universe as nezha

   and if u wanna start getting into more chinese films/series id recommend the yin yang master dream of eternity movie. its a great live action one-off before getting thrown into the rabbit hole of wuxia/xianxia media

   You guys should watch A Chinese Odyssey 1 and 2 , a Chinese comedy directed by Stephen Chow who also acts as the film’s main character as Wukong the monkey King.

   Since you guys watched Kung Fu Hustle. It should be as funny.

   For me, the pacing felt like it really picked up once they showed the aftermath of Chentang Pass - so glad they didn't shy away from showing the impact. The first movie had a great animation already, but they still managed to make it visually better ! Can't wait to see the third movie, so glad this got more attention :)

   I swear, as soon as they drop the brutal twist of the desolation of Chentang Pass, the film just ascends into outright peak and I honestly don't think I've seen animated film with a final act with such a sense of grandiosity. Just from the scale to the sheer aura of it all. China freakin' cooked with this one y'all

    You guys should watch the Legend of Hei, It's another based off chinese mythology and it just got a sequel this year. Unfortunatly the sequal is currently only in select theaters so it may still be a while to get a full american release or a digital release.

    Don't think they noticed but the golden pillar Nezha knocked over in the final fight was Wukong's staff I believe
