   2000's had a style, it was just extremely cynical and mean-spirited, it's why it was the torture porn era of horror. 2010's is where style disappeared and as much as I love the early MCU it's quite literally entirely the MCUs fault. There are literal studies on the impact of the MCU on cinema.
