Curiously, the outtakes WERE in this film, but only in select theatrical prints and the 4:3 (VHS/DVD) version.

I used to watch this movie almost every night on my old tube tv with a built-in DVD player. One of my favorite Pixar movies easily.

I'm curious of what ya'll would think of the Scary Godmother movies.

Other Pixar movies you can watch that I recommend are A Bug's Life, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Wall-E, Inside Out, Coco, and Onward.

For Disney, some good oldies are Robin Hood, The Rescuers, The Fox and the Hound, and The Great Mouse Detective.

Some more popular and personal favorites I recommend are The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mulan, Tarzan, Dinosaur, Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Brother Bear, and Wreck-it Ralph.

There is another movie called Monsters University, which you should watch. I immensely enjoyed it, but some think it could have been better. After you watch the second film, you can see the TV show on Disney+, which takes place after this movie. There is a second season that just came out or was announced recently. But I haven't watched it, so I don't know how good it is, never heard any major complaints.

Great reaction; I laugh so many times because of you all. I actually got scared as a kid by this movie and would avoid it when my older sister would want to watch it.

There is also a pixar theory that boo is the old witch in brave who figured out how to use the doors. Also another good oldie is Brother Bear!

It was fun watching yall thoroughly enjoy this one. Years later and it still holds strong. A Bugs Life also had bloopers. Seeing yall, especially the guys visibly cringe at Mike destroying his cajones with that flip seriously had me laughing! I can't wait for when yall do Monster University, it honestly didn't disappoint, I think yall will like it too.

if you want to count kingdom hearts, we do technically get a sequel of this where randall returns to trash the factory. mika and sully let boo visit her sometimes aside from that we do have the tv show on disney plus where they are teaching new recruits on how to make kids laugh rather than scare them.

Kids laughter in monsters Inc is the equivalent to us using nuclear power instead of subpar solar and wind energy

One of the best Pixar films! Also along with the prequel movie Monsters University, there's also a sequel series called Monsters At Work. I saw the first few episodes but kinda lost interest cause it didn't really focus on Mike and Sully as much as I hoped. It wasn't bad though.

God this movie is my childhood. My twin siblings were born shortly before this came out; but by the time they were two or three we actually owned it (on dvd I think, which was a BIG deal at the time). My little twin sister (they were a brother-sister set) looked just like Boo at that age, so we ended up nicknaming her Karaboo. Boom, I loved all the gay jokes! As a queer person they made me so happy! Cuz now that I’ve accepted my sexuality I absolutely see that with them and it’s added a fun layer to my experiences with this world and franchise.

Holy shit the energy crisis. It feels so much newer, but that’s cuz I was such a little kid that I didn’t really understand it at the time. Nothing is really new under the sun, just fresh coats of paint (or new skins lmao)

These days a majority of the money spent on movies is either used for big name actors. Like how akwafina is in like every 2nd movie to come out lately. Or they're practically used as scams for tax write offs

Boom is so ME I can't go a few minutes without pointing out VA's or pointing out what actors has also been in other movies, I know so many names it gets embarrassing lmao you can't help it when you've watched so many movies and tv shows. I'm with you Boom lol

I read that they had to chase Boo's voice actress around with a microphone to get anything from her because she was a literal toddler who wouldn't stay still. Damn, that kid's in her 20's now.

So yeah for any confusion about the sucking machine, it was kinda revealed at the end, but basically Randal’s plan was to kidnap children and forcefully extract the screams because of the scream shortage. Pretty dark

In the original draft the CDA would've exploded the sushi restaurant for their decontamination. But they changed it to a plasma field because of 9/11.

I didn't know that. That is so crazy; I just looked it up on Yt. It's like Lelo and Stich, so crazy to see these changes that we thought were the original idea

I miss old Disney villains like Waternoose, who had actually understandable reasons for doing the things they do while also not being pure evil themselves.
