I'd suggest Dancer in the Dark, which is performed by Bjork. Not as cheesy and fun as Mamma Mia, buuuut~! It is a musical. XD
I'd also love to see you guys watch Twister (1996) and The Thing (1982). Much more fun~! X3
please react to death becomes her. That movie is sooo camp and Goldie hawn and Meryl Streep were amazing
Funnily enough Does Your Mother know was sung by Bjorn rather than Aggie and Frida in ABBA lmao. The rest of the songs though in this movie are sung by the girls or by all of them collectively. Al so the guy on piano during Dancing Queen was Benny and both Benny and Bjorn are in the 2nd one and they kept the backing vocals of Aggie and Frida for a couple of the songs in the 2nd one.
Wicked for sure. I'd say Hamilton but nearly the entire thing is songs, you'd have a Youtube cut that was two minutes long.
As a Swede, i can tell you either way to pronounce ABBA is fine as one of the way you said it is basically the English way to say it and the other way is a more Swedish way although not EXACTLY like a Swede would say it but its close enough and they are both correct.
BUT if you WANT to pronounce it more like a Swede, out of the two ways you guys pronounced it, it is the "AH-BBA" way. AH as in "Aaaah, i see what you mean" where the a is close to the way A is pronounced in words like car, spa or pasta pasta.
Although a Swede would fluctuate in pitch way more (as we tend to do with everything). We put more emphasis on both of the As and pronounce the Bs VERY quickly since most of the time when there is two of the same letters in a row in Swedish it means that it is pronounced very quickly. Buuuuut this is totally unnecessary for anyone to focus on since this is being extremely nit-picky and not one person is ever gonna care that you don't go all in with a Swedish pitch dialect for every Swedish word you say.
Especially since ABBA isn't even a Swedish word it's just an acronym for the names of the 4 people in the group: Agnetha, Benny, Björn and Anni-Frid(Nickname Frida).
So however you would see fit to pronounce that acronym in your accent is honestly the right way to pronounce it.
TL;DR:
There you have my autistic way of saying... it really doesn't matter
Yall NEED to watch Les Miserables!!!
You all need to watch the musical "Reefer Madness" you will all love it!
If you want an incredible Meryl Streep movie you should watch 'Death Becomes Her' an underrated masterpiece with surprisingly good CGI for the time. Her and Goldie Hawn are incredible as rivals in it.
Xanadu. I cast my vote for Xanadu as its my fave movie from when I was little and its a great musical. XD
Hamilton! Hamilton!
If you're doing musicals, I'd go with Into The Woods. Either the movie or the pro shot available online. I'd vote for the musical because it's imo a lot better, and also more comedic, but either works.
i just recognized the groom he was young howard stark
Now you gotta watch the sequel.
If your reacting to Musicals now you should check out the Greatest Showman
the cast members had actual alcoholic drinks everytime they were drinking on scene and also off camera, so they were all drunk asf which i think adds to this movie A LOT and i love it
Chicago. I mean if you're going to do a musical, you gotta do Chicago.
Y'all gotta do Wicked
This is my favorite reaction ever. I will rewatch it multiple times,
all songs are from ABBA but song by the cast
omg please watch Hairspray, it's sooooo good and so powerful
Would love to see Wicked, though I understand if you'd all rather wait until part 2 is out.
mamma mia 2, hairspray, grease, wicked, heathers the musical
The Way Eric said ABBA is the way it is said in Scandinavia or at least here in Denmark ;)
rosie the older woman is same actresss as molly weasley from harry pother the other woman is christine baranski
When I get old I want to have a bunch of girlfriends that I can just scream-singing"Dancing Queen" out loud!
I’d vote Hamilton, that’d be a fun time
Me too
YAY I AM SO HAPPY I LOVE MAMMA MIA! SO MUCH!!!
This reaction was amazing, seeing all of you vibe to the songs and laughing at the pure chaos of some scenes XD, also fun fact the actor who played sky, sophies fiancé/husband, is the actor who played young Howard stark in captain America the first avenger. and bree, i beg you to force them to watch high school musical
Now you have to watch Mamma here we go again
You guys should do more movie musicals. Little shop of horrors, sound of music, phantom of the opera, Les Miserables, Grease, Hairspray
Hamilton?
chicago
