   Most rockets traveled to the moon not because of pure fuel usage, but they used momentum and gravity and the moon's orbit (and a combination). The fastest time was about 3 days (69 hours) and it was 24,700 miles per hour. Different Iron Man suits have different Speeds. In Iron Man 1, it reaches an approximate top speed of 1,500 mph. So the Space shuttle was about about 16.5 as fast. It would take Tony, in the Iron man 1 suit about 45 days to reach the surface of the moon. This presumes he doesn't use any tools.
