One thing we all need to stop doing, some people get stupid with this, we need to quit questioning the realism in movies. Alot of people complained about this because of realism issues, really dumb for movies about dinos 😆

The only thing I didn't like was the scene where the 6 of them were running from the Giganotosaur at the 01:48:00 mark. The scene felt very clumsy, rushed, and went on for too long, but that's just me.

The dino with the huge claws is a therizinosaurus. They were herbivores and the claws were likely primarily for pulling in foliage. I actually knew about this one before this movie because they were my husband's favorite dinosaur when he was a kid.

    Dinosaur role-call

Giganotosaurus - One of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs that ever lived.

Atrociraptor - These are actual dinosaurs. Their names are Red, Ghost, Tiger, and Panthera.

Quetzalcoatlus - The large pterosaur that trashed the plane. It was as tall as a giraffe, and we would've been food if its kind were still alive.

Dreadnoughtus - A large titanosaur sauropod.

Nasutoceratops - The third ceratopsian that was in the breeding farm with Triceratops and Sinoceratops. It was the sick baby that Claire rescued, and Ellie got to pet.

Pyroraptor - The raptor with red feathers. It's not explained about with swimming capabilities, but I believe they must've learned that since their home, Europe during the Cretaceous was mostly islands, so they must've island-hopped.

Lystrosaurus - The little guy with tusks. It's not actually a dinosaur, but a more ancient reptile that lived during the Early Triassic. Was more related to mammals.

Dimetrodon - Again, not a dinosaur, a more ancient reptile from the Permian era, way before the dinosaurs appeared.

Moros intrepidus - A small tyrannosaur. Although what's featured is the baby form and not in reality that big.

Microceratus - The fourth ceratopsian in the film. A pug-sized one and not an actual baby.

Therizinosaurus - Nicknamed "giant claw," one of my absolute favorite dinosaurs for its weirdness of those 28-inch claws. It is an herbivorous cousin to theropods like Tyrannosaurus and Velociraptor. The movie version is portrayed as an aggressive, non-social herbivore like a rhino who'd prefer its own company.

Yeah, the 3 t-rexs at the end. The one we been following in the jurassic world movies is the og t-rex from the first jurassic park. She's named rexy. The other 2 (buck & doe) are the parent t-rexs from the lost world. Guess junior is still on the other island or just off-screen.

I can see why fans don't like it. The world being inhabited with dinosaurs. They focus on locusts. Really? At least the dinosaur fight at the end was awesome. Doesn't beat the one at the end of Jurassic World. But glad to see rexy, show who's boss one last time.

Now that the story of these last 6 movies are wrapped up. There no longer bound by them & can do whatever they want & just have fun with it. Here's hoping rebirth is good. Looks promising. Keep up the good work you guys & looking forward to your reaction. Whenever it comes out. 😊👍💙

    My ranking of each trilogy:

    Park: 1, Lost World, 3

    World: World, Dominion, Fallen Kingdom

PS: The raptor in 3 saying Alan is peak cinema and you can't convince me otherwise. 😄👍💙

As much as I hate this movie with a burning passion for a multitude of reasons. Reasons include: - Bad dialogue

    - cliche storyline

    - Maisie’s attitude

    - egregious Locusts

    - sidelined dinosaurs

    - wasted OG cast

    - lack of logic in certain aspects (Owen surviving below freezing water)

    - lack of tension

    - more cgi on places that have practical effects (I.E Giga encounter)

    - the “genetically pure dinosaur genome,” line.

    - a lack luster villain

    - a science accurate Prologue.

    - Make the Giga actually threatening instead of a joke villain.

    - add the OG spinosaurus

    - a better final battle

    - An overall better finale.

I’m glad you guys really enjoyed this movie. You guys are entitled to your opinions and I’m entitled to mine.

You have points including the Giga's portrayal, final fight. I can say I liked it more than Fallen Kingdom, yet it still suffered from some of the same issues such as the arguments about keeping Maisie safe from those looking for her, or Owen and Claire being fugitives doesn't really make sense, I don't know. If the movie companies just let the directors do their thing without too much interference, more cohesive planning then these movies would be much better.

T.rex is more popular because we've known about it for over a century. There are over 30 near complete specimens with over a hundred identified individuals. Giganotosaurus is a much more recent find and we havnt found much. Theres only two specimans and one is just a jawbone. T. Rex has had far more research time didicated to it making it far and away the dinosaur we know the most about.

On top of this, while this movie puts an emphasis on Giganotosaurus being "the largest terrestrial carnivore that ever lived", its thought today that while Giga may have grown to be a bit taller and longer than T.Rex, T.Rex was built heavyier.  Giga's size and weight estimates were initally overblown to generate interest for the find and continued research, but more recent studies have walked back alot of the early estimates that made it "The New T.Rex". T. Rex weighed several more tons and had a larger, more robust skull; having evolved the strongest known bite strength in nature. If you ever wondered why T. Rex's arms were so small, its speculated is just didnt need them for much anymore because it overdid it with its jaws. Its an unfortunate fact that how dinosaurs are viewed in popular culture are often decades behind modern palentology.

The JP T. Rex was in line with palentology in the 90's, but if you want to see a more up to date dipiction, Google the T. Rex from Prehistoric Planet. Its a fairy recent documentary that puts an emphasis on depicting dinosaurs accuratly with updated science.

dude, if you're interested in size estimates, look into the t-rex specimen "goliath". its very speculative at the moment but it was absolutely gigantic according to the estimates. Bigger than even giga not only in length.

So on the one hand, I am glad that you guys have enjoyed these films and find fun in it where others didn't. On the other hand, I do think there are some legit complaints that I can agree with regarding this movie that isn't driven by someone repeating some internet hot take:

    1. The dinosaurs feel a little sidelined in favor of this locus storyline which many found uninteresting. Before the film came out they released a series of shorts to hype up the film that showed the effects of the dinosaurs living in the world, such as a triceratops messing with a family at a campsite and a T-Rex invading a drive-in (which I personally think would have been a great opening to the film). Therefore, many thought this should have been the main focus of the movie and instead it isn't.

    2. The movie is overly long as you guys pointed out and agreed with. I can't help but compare this to The Lost World Jurassic Park, because it has a similar problem to that film where you can see how it could have been cut down, and the big exciting climatic moment of both films (I.E. The T-Rex invading Sand Diego in lost world, and the tree way carnivore fight here) are kind of short and feel like they could have been done bit earlier.

    3.  The Maisie twist here feels like an unnecessary retcon of what they revealed in the previous film, and Maisie herself (particularly in the first half) comes off as too bratty, unlikable, sometimes has a bad attitude, and at times disrespectful. Some people were already not a fan of her in the last movie because of her decision to release the dinosaurs at the end, and this movie certainly did not win those people over lol. Some teaks could have been made with her dialogue earlier in the movie so that she could still be likable and we properly build to her being snappy with Owen and Clair, instead of her being almost kind of hostile and talking back to them right away. And no her being a teenager is not an excuse, and it's not even a good explanation for her bad attitude. Much like how people don't like to see (or rather don't put up with) that kind of behavior in real life, people obviously don't care to see this in a movie especially when it's clearly done for cheap, easy, or superficial drama or conflict as is the case here. Also, there are plenty of examples of teen characters in films or shows that are still likable while also being portrayed as angsty or having problems (Tmnt stuff comes to mind at the moment). Lastly, this is a bit of a nitpick but I do think that during her reunion with Clair and Owen she should have apologized for running off which led to her getting kidnapped, as we kind of drop the whole she feels like a prisoner but Owen and Clair had good reasons to keep her safe sort of thing as the movie kept going.

    4. The movie does utilize practical effects more and the CGI looks a quite a bit better, and it's also nice to bring back the OG crew. However, I think it's fair to say that they mainly brought in those things to hooked the audience in with nostalgia, even Alan and Ellie finally having a romance and kissing while a nice moment does feel like it was mostly done to please the fans that have wanted it for so long. I'm not saying that this is necessarily a bad thing, but just that it is noticeable 🤔.

All in all, I do think there are good legit reasons for people to dislike this film, and people can still enjoy the fun bits and thrilling action while also admitting the problems they have with it. My suggestion for you guys is that: for films that you guys are uncertain about why people love it or hate it, perhaps you guys can react to movies reviews and reviewers that people recommend that make some legit points about said films. Thanks if you read this far, have a blessed one everyone 😎. As for my ranking, I guess it's:

    1. Jurassic Park

    2. Jurassic World

    3. Jurassic Park 3

    4.The Lost World

    5. Fallen Kingdom

    6. Dominion

This series really reminds me of a manga I read way back when, but it was with dinosaur-people that was slowly dying because of lack of females and the human side made a plague to wipe out the populace, in hopes to later interbreed and make a brand new species to take over... XD It was super gory and had a lot of dark elements, but, for whatever reason, this is sparking that nostalgic memory.

1:09:00 as my biology teacher explained, that's essentially how clones are made. if you take all 46 chromosomes of someone and put the, in a uterus you can make a genetic clone. the hardest part is just getting the dna(i don't remember exactly how he explained it, it was a random convo that i cant remember how it started, but this is essentially the gist). He did also say that, just like twins, if the clone grows up in a different environment/conditions it wont look identical for long.

BTW, To my knowledge, unless they successfully create an artificial womb, all clones are born from surrogate mothers.

Apparently the first "successful" cloning attempt was in 1885 Germany when someone made artificially made a sea urchin embryo split into twins.

In 1996 1 off 277 attempts was successful in creating a clone sheep embryo that was successfully carried to term via a surrogate mother, although it only lived to the age of 6

Y’all need to calm down with the disliking or criticizing a movie made for mindless entertainment means someone has bad taste or is just trying to be edgy or contrarian. Sure, this movie is entertaining—but personally, I prefer something with more depth than just 'ooh, look, dinosaurs.', That’s why Jurassic Park stands the test of time: it had real substance and had care with its production. The World sequels (specifically these last 2), on the other hand, feel hollow and far more outlandish in tone compared to the earlier films in the franchise. As a result, they don’t even feel like they exist in the same universe as the first World movie, let alone the original Park trilogy. At least the first World film had some substance, but the last two feel like the last 2 Fantastic Beasts movies—entertaining, but lacking the depth and care in execution that made the originals worth continuing (especially in the editing).  I really enjoy y'alls reactions, but I cringe a bit when you guys make such definitive statements about your fans, the general audience, or how these movies were received. That said, I'm not trying to word police, it’s y'alls channel—and I’m just a guy rewatching something to enjoy your perspective on it. Peace and Love!

Well said and couldn't agree more. It's honestly really rude that all 4 of them just shit on people who like to review movies critically and actually want to engage their brain to think about a story instead of just seeing dinosaurs and going "ZOMG SO COOL RAWR!" If they're gonna be nasty to their fans about their opinions than I feel no remorse saying that they all seem to be simpletons who actively hate on people for thinking something through before just saying its great because there are some cool action scenes. Sorry we can't all be as mindless as you 4 and switch off our brains on a whim. Saying you "hate people" and "hate the internet" just because they have different opinions than you do is a SHIT way to be considering your job is literally to react to stuff FOR OUR ENJOYMENT. How about y'all get off your high horses and stop being assholes to your fans...

Its sad that this movie dropped the ball big time. The whole premise of the dinos acclamating into the world is so sick but they somehow managed to screw it up by diving into a storyline about locusts???  Then on top of that they bring in the OG cast for a quick cash grab with the weakest scenes and dialogue across all 6 movies, fr felt like it was written by 6 year olds.

Fallen kingdom ended on such a hype note which is why leaving the cinema after this one felt like shit (didnt need to look at reviews to know this was a miss). Really hope the next one focuses more on the writing as am keen to see what they cook up.
