   Having seen all the movies, unfortunately, the more the John Wick franchise adds to its universe's mythos the more it steps on its own toes. There are a fair amount of plot holes and discrepancies from movie to movie. It would have been cool if they could have gotten a custodian to manage the overall universe, but as is just enjoy the action.

   Honestly the Hitman games are close enough to a john wick game.

   I think Gianna also respected John a great deal. That, and the desire to go out on her own terms, made the decision easy for her.
