Great reaction to a great movie. I was just thinking, when they were in the Oracle dome and Tony and Rhodey were fighting Vanko. When he had them both with the whips around their necks and his arms were spread apart, they should have just flown as hard as they could in opposite directions. Coulda pulled his arms right outta their sockets. THAT woulda been nutty lol

Funny thing too about the "roman salute" excuse is that the salute never existed in the roman empire. It showed up in italian nationalist films depicting the Roman empire where they used that salute, so it got popular in the Italian fascist party as a salute which the nazi party then also took when Hitler modeled his governance on italian fascism, so its always been a fascist salute from the very beginning even before Hitler popularized it

You can't watch Loki until after Endgame. It will spoil a lot. There are events from Endgame shown in Loki.

Chronologically, I believe Loki technically takes place after Avengers. However, it deals with time travel, and alternate timelines. And actually, takes place after Avengers End Game.
This makes me wonder if they’d ever watch legends of shield I know it’s not mainstream anymore and kinda dragged on but I did like the early seasons

Fun fact about Scanning things and turning them digital (I know you guys love that phrase but here me out) Sony and Bandai, who make Gundam and models and such, have been working on a scanning system where if you bring in your own custom model, they can scan it and upload it into their Metaverse Project, so the technology is not far around the corner.

So, a thing that threw me off when I was younger and saw this movie: There are two versions of Ivan Vanko in the comics. One of them, which is the one I was more familiar with was the Crimson Dynamo, who in the comics was either Anton or Ivan Vanko, and the other version, Ivan is Whiplash. I like that this movie has his father as Anton and Ivan as Whiplash but his suit at the end is reminiscent of both the Crimson Dynamo AND the Whiplash suits in the comics.
Fun fact: That kid with the Iron Man costume is canonically a young Peter Parker

I think it's worth mentioning now since you guys are in for a long ride: Please don't worry about the chronological order, i.e. what time does a movie take place in. Just stick to the release date, it's definitely the most optimal and enjoyable order for a first time watch. Love the reaction.

The Black Widow movie did go to theaters actually (saw it in theatres myself) but it did also get the straight to Disney+ treatment at the same time it was in theatres.

Petition to watch Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Sorta Stupid is the perfect channel to watch it in 2025, because I know they would actually appreciate it. They would find the positives about S1 Ep 1-15 (unlike other reactors), and then explode for the rest of the show!!!

The post credit scene for Black Widow has a big spoiler for Avengers Endgame so even though it takes place between Captain America Civil War and Avengers Infinity War, you should still watch in release order when you get there. Also Loki is after Avengers Endgame.

Fun Fact: The reason that the little bunker buster didnt work is because it was a "kinetic kill" missile, meant to speed up and arm after a certain distance, they were too close.

The Black Widow movie was released in theaters! I even was able to watch it in 4DX and it was amazing! The thing with ScarJo was that her pay was also mostly coming from movie sales and it was also stated in her contract that Disney was having the movie in theaters only. However, they basically almost immediately put it on Disney plus so ScarJo sued Disney.
btw, Sam Rockwell who played Justin Hammer is the voice of Mr. Wolf from The Bad Guys
The fact that they don't know who Sam Rockwell is actually makes me really sad. He is such a good actor, in my opinion one of the most underrated. My personal favorites from him are Galaxy Quest and Mr. Right.

The Loki show (at least season 1) takes place right after Avengers: Endgame, I think season 2 takes place after the 3rd Ant-Man movie.

in my top 5 MCU movies, along with Age of Ultron, Dr Strange, Black Panther and Winter Soldier. It also has one of my favorite Tony lines: "I will serve this great nation at the pleasure of myself. And if there's one thing I've proven, it's that you can count on me to pleasure myself."

So for the "why did it take so long to get a Black Widow film" question, without getting too political ... one of the major shareholders who is a big fan/supporter/visitor to a FL hotel, I believe was really big on "the audience would not want a woman or black person featured film" so is a large part of why we have Black Panther & Widow movies so late in the schedule.
I'm not 100% on this, but was something that has been widely talked about re: Disney and the MCU for years.

why are movies being posted as Diamond first now? Wasn't the point of Gold tier to be able to watch the movies and be able to watch them right away? I'm just saying cuz at this point not sure it's worth the $15 over just waiting for it to come out free on Youtube
Diamond has always been "no schedule, just stuff early sometimes whenever it happens to be ready".
Think of it like this to maybe have it sit better: these movies were already backlogged/done, and diamond tier gets everything right away.
Gold has become a more scheduled for releases on the movies while silver and gold do not have access to them. It's just the tier we have (I also have gold)
