Hey Bree....I'm pretty sure we're the same age and I know all the slasher classics. Always have to keep looking out for those classics.

Love this movie, please continue Nightmare On Elm Street series. If you skip two I totally understand but as reactors make all the fun of that one as you can, we don't see that one. Sean you know what gold reacting to Freddy will be and thank you for all the references in you made in the first Nightmare reaction, I caught every single one. You guys are wonderful. Keep up the amazing work!

I love this movie, even though there is tragedy to it. All of it is so preventable, and honestly I don't blame Annie, Bob and Lyndia for getting caught unaware. They thought they were safe. Jamie Lee Curtis's acting is also heartbreaking in how terrified she sounds.

There is a fun theory that Sam Loomis (Psycho) and Dr. Loomis are the same person as they have the same name and the timeline kind of works.

Also to add, I love Season of the Witch (The 3rd), and stand by the opinion that if it wasn't specifically a Halloween movie it would be a beloved cult classic. (Which it is, but it was really niche/hated by Halloween fans)

I would argue that 3, 4 and 5 are all fine, it just gets weird at 6 and after of that timeline. H20 is great, it just suffered from a really bad sequel.

They should watch this one and the 2018 timeline. That’s it.

I think they should watch the 2018 timeline after the original because all of the others are not connected.

"This misconception that she was Michael's sister." You mean the thing they canonized in the second movie through H20?

I feel like it's much scarier when she isn't. That she's just some random girl who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

There’s like 4 different timelines in the Halloween movies. In two of them she’s not his sister. And it was not the idea of the writers of the first one either. The new ones that came out recently follow the “not sister” plot line.

I feel Rob Zombie remade Halloween for a modern audience and lost a lot of the tone of original, I HATE what he did to Loomis's character.

Laurie was actually confirmed to be Michael's sister in the original Halloween 2 from 1981. Halloween 2018 retconned it out, but it was a consistent thing through all the other sequels and even the Rob Zombie movies.

Bree using the excuse that this movie was before she was born is crazy, because I was born in 2001 and I still knew about it growing up. I think the more apt reasoning is she lived under a rock, lol.

Be sure to watch Halloween II. It may not be the *perfect* sequel, but it is definitely how Laurie's story should've ended with Halloween.

Ngl, Bree and Erik not knowing Jamie Lee Curtis plays the main character in the Halloween movies is kinda egregious lmao

fun fact, all the eaves on the ground are the same in all the shots. they had to film in the summer, so, to make it look like October, they carried around a bag of leaves that they would sprinkle in the shot then rake up and move on.

I used to think that movies like this just had the neighbors not answer the door to screaming, bleeding person for dramatic effect... but then a friend of mine was almost "unalived" by her husband and when she ran to the neighbors house crying for help, they didn't even bother to turn on the porch light and let her in. They did call the police though, so that's something, I guess lol she was just lucky he decided not to follow her out of the house

Y'all might as well jump to 2018's Halloween since they're the only Halloween movies that are now the official canonical sequels to this one.

Only ever saw Halloween Ends and loved it, so I'm curious if these older ones can be better.
