   Fun Fact: Apparently there's gremlin LORE. Found out that the Mogwai that deliberately resist the urge to turn into gremlins without much human help (I.e., Gizmo) are called Eternals? They're the rare few good-hearted gremlins - in the novelization this is bcuz the OG Mogwai tend to be nicer than ones born from water, but that doesn't mean there aren't shithead OG Mogwai/gremlins either.

   I remember sleeping on the opposite end of my Grandma's Queen sized bed to where my head was right next to the box T.V., and suddenly I heard the T.V.s' DVD slot slide open, and then closed. All of a sudden, the Gremlins 2 theme was playing, and I opened my eyes to the main menu of this movies was on. She knew turning the movie on would wake me up. Man I miss those days, I miss my Grandma. 💚 💜

    In regards to Stripe being in the snow: From what I remember the creators addressed this. It has to be unfrozen water. (yes, snow melts and becomes water, but.....leave it be. Lol)

    Yeah, the whole "after midnight" thing is asked by everyone ive seen watch this. Lol. It was brought up so much back in the day that they made a very clever joke about it in the sequel.

    Glad I can be that guy so early on - Gremlins was NOT directed by Steven Spielberg. It was directed by Joe Dante, Steven was one of the main financiers (executive producer) and put his name to it as a part of his brand appeal. Kinda like how Nightmare before Christmas is not directed by Tim Burton (though Burton did have more of a hand in that than Gremlins iirc)
